Surf Shack short stay
The shack served what I needed with my dog and me for a few days and was reasonably clean. Wifi was great when i needed to do some work online. Yard was great for the dog and secure.( although a lockable side gate would feel more secure) I missed being able to open a window (odd) to let the sea air in & perhaps a Smart TV to link into would be a future touch. And just a little thing missing was oven trays. Small things. Happy stay.

Pet friendly but back garden not secure enough for small dogs
Have a small dog who was enjoying investigating the back garden but then she disappeared under the house & found her way out from underneath the front door verandah & was loose in the street. For that reason I would not stay at Peachy Place again.

A fantastic getaway
We absolutely loved our stay at Peachy Place. It is quirky and eclectic but such a lovely space to stay in. I felt instantly at home and adored the beautiful backyard that we got to enjoy with our fur baby. Do yourself a favour and enjoy every minute of a peaceful retreat so close to everything you could possibly want to get to in Torquay.

Character Filled
The property was quiet and comfortable , with an easy walk to the beach and shops. Excellent, safe back yard for a dog. The house itself had a great decor. Very retro and quirky. We loved the deco pieces.

Great!!
My sister and I loved this house. It is so centrally located. I did a quilting class at Amitie, which was wonderful, while my sister and dog played at the beach. The back garden was well-enjoyed by our little dog. It was safely-fenced and we felt confident that our dog was protected. The amenities were exactly as described. We had a very comfortable stay and would happily repeat the experience!

Location, Quirk and Charm
This little one bedroom home was gorgeous 😍 It was Quirky, Cosy and me and my pooch loved it. So close to the beach, and perfect for some downtime to read a book and relax. The bedroom walls were so fun, and I loved looking at all the pictures.. Super Cute! I'll definately be back!!! 😊

Not What I Expected.
The advert on STAYZ says 2 bedrooms and sleeps 2. However the second bedroom was padlocked so one of us had to sleep on the sofa. Very disappointed. Elements of the property were very cool but it felt like the owners just gave up.

Lovely little home once inside
Outside of the property left a little to be desired so it was a relief to see inside was neat and cosy. The lack of lights outside made it hard to navigate. Unfortunately the check in details weren’t sent through on time so I panicked that we wouldn’t get onto anyone. I “chatted” VRBO and they said they had different dates for check in which left us very stressed. I emailed the property manager who did assist in the end but it was an unnecessary anxiety on us :( …

Nice older property recently renovated
Very clean, central location with large backyard for dog. The bed and couch were comfy. The yard could use a tidy up and the bath/ shower combo was awkward, I think a person with limited mobility would have trouble standing in bath to shower and it was impossible not to have the shower curtain touching you. Also no blind on the window which seems private however the neighbours have a second story which could possibly see inside. Entry is via the side gate to the back door and there was no outside lighting. Particularly annoying when trying to find my dog in the large backyard at night. Overall though I enjoyed my stay.
