"Our whanau of 16 ranging from 12 to 80 years, were lucky enough to stay at this amazing property over the Christmas period. The combination of stunning location and excellent facilities meant we all had such a wonderful time. The hosts have thought of every last detail to ensure their guests enjoyment. "The cottage was even cuter in person and was the perfect base to explore the northlands from! I wish we had more time since the sunny porch and living room begged me to sit and read a good book. The historic post office flooring was beautiful and it was cool to learn about its history. Douglas was great with communication and food recommendations too! Thanks so much! "

"We had 3 generations under one roof, amazing house with outstanding well cared for garden's and then the amazing views. Beds were incredible, the best beds we have slept on at book a bach. Washing machine and dryer were excellent. David was great, and met us onsite when we arrived, and provided great communication through out the start to finish process. Overall the best stay we have had at a book a bach. We will definitely be back. ❤️ "

"We had a fantastic stay up in Matauri Bay and the accommodation location was a short drive from the beach and other attractions. The only hitches had was we couldn’t get the TV to work, but didn’t need it in the end and could have contact led the host if we really needed it. A nice clean spot with everything we needed. Thanks"

"We really loved the house and location. New house, with heaps of space and beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. Lovely quiet area with wild turkeys and cows nearby. The only issue we had was that there were several wasps nests under the outdoor benches which meant we couldn’t use the outside area and had to buy some wasp spray to try and get rid of them to stop them coming inside.
