"Fantastic property. 16 of us for a family birthday. Lots of different spaces so we werent on top of each other all the time. The teens really enjoyed the games room. It was also great having all of us round the huge dining table. Location is ideal so we walked in to Galashiels and also in to tweedbank , no need to get in the car. "

"Comfortable cottage with roaring wood stove. We were surprised by a morning of snow which added to the beauty. Kim, our host was the best, helping us when needed, even suppling candles at last minute when a predicted windstorm threatened power outage which luckily never came. "

"We found the home to be a very nice size with ample room for us. The recent upgrades and renovations were very well done. We did have a bit of difficulty navigating the one way streets for the parking situation. Parking lot across the street was close and free during our stay which was very good. Parking nearly by on the street would have been a challenge. The property was in an area urban renewal. Was well within an easy walk to the High Street. "

"I cannot say enough wonderful things about Gardner’s House!! Henrietta is a host that goes above and beyond for her guests. "There was everything you could need in the property and it was absolutely spotless. It was close to the river and scenic walks and very peaceful given its proximity to the high street.
