Rainy Christmas in a Beautiful Setting
The house was welcoming and comfortable with a well equipped, modern kitchen. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The walk to the beach was a bit longer than we expected, but it was a fabulous place for a walk with the dogs. We all agreed we would like to come back another time - in betterweather so we could enjoy th hot tub!

Our short girls trip with my dog tagging along brought us to this home and we had a wonderful time. It was our first time being back in the area after graduating from Humboldt State in 2017. Trinidad and its beaches was always my favorite while living here as a student, so this home was perfect due to its location. Also, the view of the ocean from the kitchen was beautiful! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful location
Beautiful home with an amazing view. We were not disappointed. Owners left clear instructions. I will say if you are planing to stay more than a few days and need groceries, there are many places to choose from in Eureka. The Grocery Outlet in McKinlyville was very nice, also. Walmart and Winco are in Eueka, as well as Costco. It was a very nice trip! We hope to come back again soon.

Ocean View with Spa - The Perfect Getaway
What a perfect place to stay for our 20th anniversary getaway. The view of the ocean from the dining room/kitchen is spectacular. In the evening, you can sit out in the spa and view the starts with no light pollution. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed to make meals. Trinidad is a sleepy tourist village that has a great vibe. You'll be less than 30 minutes away from the Redwood National and State Park and everything it has to offer. The perfect stay!

Lovely beach bungalow stay with spa amenities
Overall very happy with my stay. My dogs absolutely loved it too. Beautiful home, beautiful property, beautiful area — i absolutely love Trinidad. Can’t wait to come back. Hot tub, sauna, a bath tub, ocean views, peaceful neighborhood… you couldn’t ask for more.

Great stay and amazing setting!
The house was perfect and just what we needed for our trip. Great location and access to the Redwoods, as well as the towns of Trinidad and Arcata. Moonstone Beach is just a short walk down the hill and a perfect beach to take the dogs. Sam, the co-host, is also a photographer and took photos of our elopement - would recommend and would stay here again!

Lovely home
Super private, lush property, distant view of the ocean adds to the sense of solitude. Hot tub a welcome treat in the evening. I couldn’t figure out the induction stove and burned every meal. Will definitely Google a tutorial for next time. Internet TV was terrific. Only thing lacking is a hairdryer.

Nice dog friendly location with a beautiful view
We rented this property for my son's graduation from Humboldt State and Mothers Day. It was centrally located with a beautiful view. It was cozy and comfortable. The house was well stocked and clean and you can tell the owners have great taste. It was an added bonus to be able to bring the dogs.

Amazing place!
This place was better then the pictures, which isn't always the case. We were so happy with the location, set up and cleanliness. The owners were responsive to any need or question. The view was perfect in the morning and evening. The slide was an added fun and eventful extra thing to do while relaxing in the yard. No complaints here, we hope take it back someday

Home was in great condition. Lot of effort into what appears to be a recent remodel. Yard is coming along. Great views from inside and out. Kids loved the sauna and hot tub.

Great retreat
My family used this sweet house as a “home base” as we went up and down the coast hiking in the Redwoods. The gorgeous view and hot tub were such a treat after our long days. The town of town of Trinidad had all that we needed in terms of grocery and restaurants. The suggestions from the hosts were also great. I already want to return.
