"Cabin G was very nice and clean when we arrived. Property is very nice too. Everybody that works here is very friendly. My only suggestions would be as follows, but none of these would stop us from staying again. Some picnic tables near the cabins would be nice since there is no table to sit and eat in the cabin, just a small counter/island with two stools. Also, we know the cabins were recently refurbished, but there is literally no hooks, closets, clothes rods, dressers, etc to hang or store...

"House was a great gathering space. 6 adults stayed at the location and we had local family visit us while we there. The house was just as advertised and fully stalked for our needs. The added bonus aside from the great weather was the screened porch out back, the table and chairs on the lawn and the delightful front porch to drink our morning coffee. Will definitely stay there again if needed and recommend it others."

"Finding the property was easy using Waze. Check in info was given with plenty of advance notice, and the information was easily understood. One of the 2 outside stairs to the main entrance was a bit higher than standard with no handrail, making it a bit of a challenge for my mother of 88 years, but the kitchen entrance was much easier. "The Douglas Place is in a beautiful setting with great privacy and seclusion. Sitting right next to the woods you can see all sorts of birds and wildlife. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was easy to find. Nicole and family are great hosts and very welcoming. My only complaints would be the beds are small and after the second night my back started to get stiff.I also think outside seating could be improved a bit.
