Charming little home close to both hiking and city amenities and conveniences, with virdens and hummingbirds feeding by the front door.

Nice place, a couple small updates would be great.
We had a good stay at Taylor and Yuko's place. They were friendly (over text) and flexible on check-in time as well. The outdoor area is great.Note that this casita is one of two rental properties on the same lot. Each has its own outdoor space.A couple of things that could have been improved:1) A small shelf in the shower would have made it easier to place toiletries in there. This is especially good for guests (like me) with mobility issues, since it removes the need to keep bending up and down. (The property is otherwise accessible.)2) The "second bed" in this listing is really a fold-out couch that was too flimsy and uncomfortable for my friend to use. Don't think of this as a true two-bedroom property.Other than that, we had a great stay.

It was ok, just pricey
It's a comfortable casita, clean, well stocked with essentials. Parking was easy. Yard was fenced, but I wouldn't leave a pet unattended as the front gate wouldn't close. My dog escaped, which wasn't fun due to the busy roads nearby. This was my final night of a 6 week cross country road trip with my dog. It ended up being the single most expensive night on the entire trip because I was hit with an additional "pet fee" after booking. I had done many rental bookings throughout my trip, always noting that I was traveling with my dog during the booking process. I was stuck with this additional pet fee after booking because of course I booked last minute & could not cancel. Just annoyed with the five star price for a three to four star place.

Lovely hosts
We actually met Yuko and their young son as we were checking out, and very much enjoyed talking to them. It was immaculately clean, and when I needed them to replace the propane in the grill, they dealt with it immediately. Two things that you should be aware of before renting, though. The layout is rather odd; the kitchen, while quite well equipped for a VRBO property, is in the same area as the bedroom. This was a bit of a problem for us, as I aways awaken hours before my girlfriend. So I had to disturb her putting my breakfast together and getting the coffee going. And (to be fair, like much of Tucson) it is not a great walking neighborhood. It is not pedestrian friendly, and there isn't much around it as a destination.

Nice place in good location
Spent a long weekend here and loved the close proximity to black crown coffee and other restaurants. Neighborhood felt safe and was relatively quiet aside from the neighbors dog barking. My only complaint is the thermostat schedule. It's so random and would turn the heat off in the middle of the night which was really frustrating because we'd wake up cold. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Brief visit to Tucson and love the casita!
Really comfortable and spacious casita. Lovely outdoor area that enabled me to enjoy the late fall sunny and warm days in Tucson. It was the perfect place to allow us to explore Tucson during the day and to come home to a nice sweet place in a comfortable neighborhood. And we at the best Mexican food every day of our stay.

Fine for a short stay
The villa was neatly decorated and had a lot of character. The landscaping was beautiful, the life tree was magical. The fridge was dirty, the pillows were flat and the extra ones were stained, the shower head needed to be replaced… quiet neighborhood, but we will probably not be back.

Lovely Morning in May
The desert garden was wonderful. Sitting on the porch with coffee, flowers and birds. I relaxing time in May to start the day. We had a very comfortable stay with everything we needed; plenty of all the necessities. The only problem we had was that we didn’t have the welcome book with directions on how to turn the cooling system off and were not sure as to actually start the laundry.

Lovely casita with comfy bed, beautifully tiled kitchen, and peaceful cactus garden with hummingbirds. Early morning walks in the neighborhood and saw 2 coyotes at 6:30 AM. Easy walk to coffee shops and access to central Tucson, Sabino canyon, Tohono Chul and Botanical Garden. Much more pleasant than a hotel room. Make your reservation now!

Clean, Convenient, and Private
We really love this little casita which is centrally located to everything. The layout is a little different, but it is very well maintained! This was our first visit to Tucson and spent a lot of time exploring. We enjoyed spending the mornings and evenings in the cozy backyard. The only thing we could recommend is new beds/mattresses - they weren’t as comfortable as we would’ve liked. We do plan on returning in the future and we will be looking to book this casita.
