We so enjoyed the outdoor space. We spent hours each day relaxing, eating lunch or dinner, swimming, reading. Main bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and spacious. Location was close to shopping and restaurants. This was our 2nd time at this location and would return again. Thank you.

Incredible stay at this serene home. The pictures don't lie, the home is fabulous, the backyard is relaxing and so enjoyable. Owners go over the top to make sure that your stay is everything that you want without be overly intrusive. Excellent communication prior to arriving is much appreciated! Thank you, we will return!

This is an outstanding house. It is completely updated and maintained in an immaculate manner. The backyard living space is phenomenal. The property manager is very solicitous and responsive. I would rate this 10/10.

Just WOW

The house was AMAZING! Master bedroom and bath looked like it was from an episode of Fixer Upper, the pool and landscaping was even prettier in person than in pictures! The entry porch area had the most beautiful view of the mountains and the fireplace by the pool were perfects spots for morning coffe talk and evening whispers! Jack was the perfect host and went out of his way to make everything just prefect for our stay!! This VRBO is a gem! Thanks for helping us make such wonderful memories!

Spectacular getaway oasis

The generosity, kindness, and attention to detail of the hosts and property manager showed through in every detail. From the welcome card and treats when we arrived to the beauty of every space indoors and out, it was a perfect stay. There were eight of us during our visit, from age 22 to 82, with a number of us having mobility issues. This was no problem at all because the house, yard, and the entire property is highly accessible. Attention to detail made it comfortable and beautiful to stay at this lovely home. Someone was in the pool almost around the clock, and we ate every meal outdoors. It was the perfect home base for three generations to vacation and celebrate my daughter's graduation from U of A. Hands down this was the best vacation rental we have ever experienced. I would recommend this home to anyone and hope to be able to come back again in the future.

Great Rental!

We've been coming to Tucson regularly over the past couple of years to visit our daughter in college, and this is by far our favorite place we've stayed. The house is super comfortable and very clean. The kitchen is really well stocked, which made it easy to cook in when we didn’t feel like eating out.It’s close to restaurants and shopping but tucked away enough that it’s quiet and peaceful. The real highlight for us is the backyard and pool. It’s such a great space to relax and spend time as a family.We’ve stayed in quite a few rentals in Tucson, and this one stands out in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and overall vibe. We’ll definitely be booking again on our next trip!

Relaxing oasis with everything you need!

This was hands down the best rental we have ever stayed. The outdoor space was lovely with plenty of options for lounging by the pool, cozying up by the outdoor fireplace, taking in the beautiful mountain views or eating a meal with the family. The inside of the house was super clean with spacious sitting rooms and large dining room table. The kitchen was fully equipped, bathrooms were spotless, stocked with toiletries, and amazing plush towels. The bedrooms had lots of closet space, and cozy beds with luxurious linens. Fireplace, grill, TVs and WiFi all worked wonderfully and were super simple to use. We had the pool heated and it was delightful, super warm upon our arrival and all week without issue. The property manager was welcoming, extremely responsive, and made sure our stay was like a home away from home! Highly recommend!

Oldie but goodie

This property was an older home but very well maintained and well stocked with everything you might need. There was nothing broke and nothing that didn’t work, which is unusual. Four couples, mid 50’s to mid 70’s. Plenty of room for everyone. The guys played golf and the women shopped, hiked and ate at various unique restaurants. Property was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go, pool was just right temperature. We could not ask for a better experience. Manager was very informative with short videos of how to operate things and there was lots of local information in notebook. We have rented VRBO’s for 20 plus years here in Tucson and in Phoenix/Scottsdale area and this property along with the property manager was head & shoulders above anything else we have ever rented. This property is gold star for cleanliness, location, and exceeded our expectations. Thanks Jack , enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

Backyard oasis

This home had a fantastic outdoor living space. Most of our time was spent there enjoying the pool and fireplace. The primary suite was beautiful. Everything we could think of was provided and the Manager was so helpful and accommodating. In addition, the resource material regarding the home and local activities was extremely helpful. A beautiful house and perfect location

Everyone was very attentive to our comfort and needs. The house and property are absolutely beautiful, clean and well maintained. Nice, peaceful location. The house was well stocked with amenities (such as extra towels, toothpaste, toothbrushes and toiletries, coffee, sugar, flour, paper towels, etc). We loved staying here, and found the location to be very convenient as well. We hope to stay here again next year! Ten out of ten stars! Thank you!

The property was as described, clean and well stocked. We were welcomed the moment we walked in with excellent communication regarding various use of components of the house. Our family really felt that if we needed something it would be arrranged by Jack the property manager. Also the owners were easy to work with and also confirmed our satisfaction. Fabulous in every way

Very impressed with all aspects of our stay. We had a sibling and spouse reunion and chose this house for our destination. The cleanest place, the most well stocked kitchen, and the prettiest private grounds of all the places we’ve chosen for our reunions. The property manager, Jack was a great guy and saw to our every need. The brand new Keurig coffee maker stopped working. He brought us a new one in just a few hours. He texted me every other day to confirm that all was going well. Very responsive and friendly. Thank you Jack! We would definitely stay there again.

Memory Maker

This was our 2nd stay at the Dessert Treehouse, absolutely spectacular experience. The master suite updates are stunning and add to the overall relaxing and rejuvenating feeling we left with. The daily visits from the owl and hawks we looked forward to everyday! The pool and backyard are just gorgeous, this home is everything you didn't know you needed for a break from the day to day. We made beautiful memories with our family; we plan to return as soon as possible! Thanks to Lisa, Matt and Jack for the top rate experience!

This was our second extended stay at The Desert Treehouse. The home is so inviting and comfortable, and now offers the new addition of a beautiful, bright and spacious primary ensuite bathroom! The stunning outdoor spaces and mountain views with glorious sunsets are unbeatable. The home's private, quiet location is mere minutes to shopping and restaurants; our favorite hiking trailheads are a 20-minute drive away. I want to go back!

This place is just the best. * Wonderful layout for multiple family members of various ages * the yard is truly spectacular * the house is amazingly well stocked * the new spa bathroom was beautiful and everyone wanted to use that one to shower & bathe * we really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace in the family room and the TV was easy to use - unlike in many rentals * location is great being close to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's etc., * Nice neighborhood with good walking * house was so clean and well appointed, * pool was delightful and warm * Matt & Jack reached out several times to inquire as to how our stay was going * The house was very comfortable and inviting. We felt truly welcomed. We'd love to stay again and hope we can.

Amazing place and terrific hosts/manager

Matt and Lisa (owners) and Jack (manager) are simply amazing. They all made us feel very welcomed and provided lots of advice on things to do in the Tuscon area. They were very communicative and were able to address any questions we had. The property is beautiful. It has such a huge and beautifully landscaped garden that is terrific for spending time outside including in front of the fireplace, around the pool or at the outside dining table. The outdoor stove was a dream to use. Inside the house was immaculate, lots of space for hanging out and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots & pans and essentials. The welcome package was wonderful and a nice touch. The location is great for getting into the city, restaurants, grocery stores and outdoor hikes/national park, etc. The neighborhood is quiet and morning or evening walks are very pleasant with friendly folks in the street. We had an amazing time there and it comes with our highest recommendations. We have stayed at many VRBOs and this ranks at the selected top. We hope to return one day.

Definitely an Oasis!

We have rented this property 2 years in a row and are planning on renting again next year. It is located in a very safe and quiet neighborhood and the house is both beautiful and comfortable. It has lovely, peaceful landscaping and its own pool which is pretty much heaven on Earth. We have found the property's location to be convenient for lots of golfing and for getting to downtown Tucson.

Desert Tree House

The property was spectacular, back yard oasis and home were perfectly appointed. The pool was sparkling and warm. We swam, laid in the sun and relaxed by the outdoor fireplace. Matt & Lisa were amazing hosts, very wonderful people and property manager Jack made sure we had everything we needed and was super attentive. Wonderful vacation, we already planned our next trip back! Perfect vacation home with everything we could have wanted. Memories were made! Can’t wait to go back!

An outstanding three-week retreat for the two of us plus family/friends who visited for a few overnights . The Desert Treehouse offers comfortable, homey and spacious accommodations, a stunning private backyard and great location for hiking, shopping & restaurants. Our experience was further elevated by the accessible, responsive and gracious property manager Jack and owner Matt -- the best customer service we've ever been treated to at a vacational rental; thank you Jack & Matt! Although during our stay the weather ranged from cool (blustery wind, rain and snow!) to warm, we greatly enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor spaces, including the heated pool and outdoor fireplace.
