"Our family of 16, ages 76-4, enjoyed a wonderful week at Sunnybank house. We loved having enough room (and bathrooms!) for all I’ve rented a lot of vacation houses over the years and never been in one as well equipped! Everything you could possibly need for cooking was there It’s also walking distance (really) to several good restaurants. Clifden is the perfect location to explore Connemara and Mayo."

"An excellent stay in a good property, in an ideal location for Dogs Bay. We were disappointed that the garden shrubs screened the view of the bay. We were unable to make the heating system work ideally for us. We would have appreciated a change of bed linen during our 3 week stay. Auch bei schlechterem Wetter konnten wir das unvergleichliche Panorama der Berge und des See's genießen, weil wir uns den Tisch vor das Fenster geschoben haben. "This was just a marvelous place to stay. The house was a great location and equipped with you need. All the information we received was spot on accurate. We had great Irish weather - sunny some days, windy and rainy others. The School House was like a safe harbor. Plenty to do in the area - hiking, shopping, great food at local restaurants, convenient grocery shopping. Thanks to the owners. A great memory. "

"This place is just perfect. The surroundings and the views are splendid, at the end of a beautiful road, making you feel that you are alone (even if Letterfrack is quite close). The house by itself is very comfortable and practical. And Tim is the best host, very available and helpful. We couldn’t hope for a better basecamp for our week in Connemara."

"What a great stay! My daughters said it was the best place we stayed on our whole trip, and wish we stayed longer. We loved the remote location and beautiful setting. It is just a short walk past fields of grazing sheep and cows to Carrowinsky Strand, which is a stunning beach. The owner provided a packet with helpful information in nearby Louisburgh. "We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary...
