Perfect quiet retreat
My stay at Hill Top Lodge was wonderful! Chris is a fabulous host (along with Bare and Nikko, the two king shepherds). The bacon really is as good as the other reviews say! Photos of the property really don’t do it justice (it may be a bit steep for some to access the creek by foot though). The kitchen was well stocked with basic spices, oils, pots, and pans for cooking dinners. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great host
The accommodations were great for our family. Chris was very helpful during our stay and made delicious breakfasts. We were uncomfortable to find out when we arrived the host actually stayed in the house with us and we shared the living room and kitchen areas with him.

Wonderful host and accommodations.
Can’t say enough about our host, Chris. His gracious hospitality was a blessing to us. The accommodations were so inviting, interesting and cozy. Then this was topped off by his deeeelicibreakfasts. We would highly recommend The Hilltop Cabin to anyone. A+++++++. Thanks Chris for everything. God bless you.

Top Notch in Turin
I'll start with the property. Beautiful acreage in the absolute best location if you're going there for snowmobiling. The trail literally runs thru the front yard. You can't get any closer. What's great is just a very short ride down the trail is a great bar (Boondocks), a pizza place, and Stewarts when you need gas. The house itself was perfect for a large group. Absolutely spotless. Heated cement floors. Extra refrigerator. Full kitchen. Decor is right at the intersection of Adirondaks & Honky Tonk...such a cool vibe. Plenty of room for all the snowmobile gear. Ask for the host and family...nobody better. Chris was there for most of the weekend. This guy was amazing. Not only can the man cook, he is a terrific tour guide. We asked him to ride with us and his schedule allowed that on Friday and Saturday. Chris was incredibly flexible and couldn't have been more accommodating. He's got a couple of dogs that were a big hit with our party of 10. We look forward to getting back there next year at the same place with the same great host.

Exceptional!
Chris was an attentive host, and we feel like we have a new friend. The guy can cook! Amazing 5 star breakfast every morning, far exceeded my expectations!!! Comfortable bedrooms are on the second floor and it was so quiet and peaceful! Shared living area on main floor is furnished with high quality local made furniture. The pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend! Thanks again Chris!!!
