"The cottage at River Bird Lodge was excellent. It's very nice, clean, well appointed. It's great for a couple or a small family. The cottage layout has a bedroom and common living area with a full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable, which is not always the case. It sits on a large property with a lot of woods to explore, as well as the river. This time of year the river is pretty low, so you can easily access the riverbed.. Niki was very responsive and easy to work with. I gave only 4 stars...

"Everything was perfect! My husband and I had a great, relaxing time! The cabin was so lovely, cozy and clean and the view was amazing!!!! I highly recommend! The property host, Billy, was so easy to work with. He checked to make sure we arrived and got in ok then also checked on us again during our stay to see if we needed anything and checked on us again during some very foggy weather making sure we were ok making our way back up the mountain to the cabin. I would most definitely book this...

"The view from the house was unparalleled open sky. The valley opens below you with a river running through it, complete with cows and goats grazing in the distance. We came for the solar eclipse 2024, but the night sky without any light pollution, was equally spectacular. The home was beautiful, clean, spacious, and had many sports activities for entertainment. We loved our stay and would like to come back and stay longer."
