"The cabin was a lovely spot for 6 of us (ranging in age from 25 to 78). The screen porch and fire pit were favorites to gather! We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen and the serene surroundings after our days of exploring and sightseeing. John was attentive without being intrusive. "It was everything that was described. Beautiful cabin and property. Not ideal for hauling a boat or parking one. The shower was cool but so was the water or to hot. But overall a great place and would go back again. There is very little cell service which i liked but was in return hard to communicate with owner's and the tournament staff for the bass tournament we were fishing. "My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the view of the lake is beautiful. It was very clean and had all the conveniences that you could want. "House was immaculately clean and fresh. Great private location that makes you feel like you’re away from it all. We happened to check in on a hot, humid , 90 degree plus day ( more and more of those in the ADKS these days) and just know there is only 1 portable AC unit in the entire place. Not truly adequate to cool the whole house with the back bedrooms. There are ceiling fans in each bedroom and two floor fans that we found in the closets but if you’re use to AC just be aware, it’s a bit warm....

Les moins : l’éclairage froid dans le restaurant (led), le manque d’éclairage dans la chambre et surtout le système de climatisation/chauffage dans la chambre qui laisse vraiment à désirer (très bruyant et nécessite qu’on l’ouvre et le ferme constamment car ne s’éteint pas tout seul - donc très problématique la nuit) "

Housekeeping did not leave any coffee for the second day and the coffee cups were not cleaned.
