"We had a lot of fun at Blue Gum Retreat. We relaxed, read, listened to music, slept well and had fun together at the house and the surrounding area. We ate at home alot because of the fantastic views of the valley and mountains and outside furniture. Lawn games were fun on the lawn like bocce or Kubb. We also cooled off at the nearby Never Never Creek or a surf at at Hungry Head, a bush walk, or the awesome shops and cafes at Bellingen. We will be back!"

"The house itself is stunning - massive, bright, airy and serene, right on the water's edge. We had 8 people stay and never ran out of hot water. The locals are friendly and though it's a bit of a walk (or a 15 min car drive) to a swimmable beach, the location is peaceful and quiet. The main issue we had is that the lockbox would not open.
