"My wife and I frequent the Texas Hill Country and look for quiet cabins in remote areas. This one was perfect for us. The cabin is well maintained, clean, and lacking in nothing. The location was remote, quiet, and literally on the river. It is hard to access the water because of the steep river bank. There is a large rope provided to stabilize your climb down and back up. Not a problem for us able-bodied old folks. Kids would love it. We found our stay to quite enjoyable and look...

"This place is just A-MAZING!!! We were a huge party of 26 people with ages ranging between 6-78. Tons of games and activities helped keep everyone busy. There wasn’t a single moment when we felt we could’ve made a better choice with the place. Excellent and beautiful place to stay in Texas hill country. To top it all, the owner, Bill was very accommodating and helpful in every way. We fell short of words to express how happy and content we were with our choice. We hope to come back to this...

"It was so much more than I could have imagined. The location is ideal for either GSP or LM and the amenities were excellent. We spent most of the day time at the parks, but our evenings consisted of relaxing at the getaway. Dinner on the outdoor charcoal grill was amazing and the fire pit was a perfect ambiance for the nighttime hill country. I should also mention breakfast on the stove with a light fire going outside was mint. Would definitely recommend for a secluded getaway. "

"The cabin was everything we needed for a weekend getaway! Directly in between Lost Maples & Garner, it allowed us easily visit both parks. The front porch had a wonderful view of the hills to the east while the back porch had a covered area with so many cardinals - and even a few deer came by at sunset. The inside of the cabin was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. We can’t wait to go back!"

"Overall a great place to stay. In the woods and nice and quiet. We stayed in the off season so it may not be so quiet during peak time. To make the place excellent I think a few extra finishes would have been nice. A couple of tide pods and some shampoo and conditioner. I few coffee k cups. I have stayed a tons of vrbos and these are staple items we brought our own wood. Overall a nice place. "We wanted a cabin off the “beaten path” and that is exactly what you should expect. It had everything we needed. It was clean, welcoming and expect the deer to come right up to the front porch. We had a great time hiking at Garner State Park and coming back to the cabin to relax, fix dinner and watch a movie before calling it a night. "

"We stayed 2 nights for a quick weekend getaway to Garner State Park and Lost Maples. The condo was perfectly located and has beautiful views of the surrounding area! It was clean, well furnished and had everything we needed! Check in and check out were as easy as can be, just know that cell signal for Verizon customers is almost non existant in this area! The wifi was really nice to have as well! All in all, I woukd recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit!"
