This was my first VRBO or similar (e.g.Air-BNB) experience. The location was wonderful, the property speculator, and the owner/host was everything you could hope for.
We had a family gathering of 22 to meet my daughter’s future husband Anchor’s Aweigh was the perfect place to host the occasion. We actually slept 15 utilizing the comfrey coach. The remaining 7 ((my married daughter and her 5 children) just drove up for the day.. We rented a pontoon boat from Geaux Outdoors (which for an additional fee will deliver the boat to and retrieve it from your pier). A full day of fun on the water swimming, tubing and paddle boarding. Many of the “water toys were dented or self supplied, but some were supplied with the rental property, including a paddle board, a kayak, and a lilypad.
The rental was well supplies with pots, pans, skillets, spoons, spatulas, etc. Also many spices were supplied for your convenience. Only one roll of TP supplied for each bathroom so bring your own for an extended stay or if you are hosting a large gathering.
On a five star rating, this was definitely a five. Only thing rating 4 stars concerned the electronic entry which was not user friendly. However, Jena., the owner had given me her number and was available to assist.
Finally, Jena also gets 5 stars for responding to all the many questions this VRBO newbie threw her way.
