50th birthday weekend

3 couples enjoyed this lovely home to have a relaxing birthday weekend. The hime was just as pictured. This is my second time staying here and it won’t be my last. We especially appreciated the attention to detail and the screened in porch!

Guys Golf Trip

Excellent property. 6 minutes to False River CC. Six guys enjoyed awesome accommodations. Terrific dock area for visiting and watching sunrise and sunset.

Amazing house!

Absolutely beautiful house ! We had a wonderful time at Drake on the Lake. The house was clean, organized and property manager went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay. We will be staying here again!

Wedding party get away

It was just perfect for our group. My son got married in Saint Francesville and we stayed at the Drake. It was a great place to relax in between events. The only complaint was the bbq pit needs to be replaced but other than that we had a awesome time and would definitely return.

Enjoyed our stay

The house was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. It was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. The owner was responsive and helpful. The views of the lake were great and we enjoyed the dock and the back yard area with the fire pit and the nice grill. The location was convenient to several restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed our week and hope to return. Thank you Dean!

Great Place to Stay on False River

Beautiful VRBO rental. The beds were extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the living areas were comfy and had plenty of seating for our group of eight long time friends. I would highly recommend “Drake on the Lake” to anyone wanting a getaway on the River!

Beautiful False River Home

We greatly enjoyed our stay, the home has very comfortable beds and nice furnishings including a nice kitchen and grill. The pier was able to accommodate our boat and the swing, furnishings and fans are great. Beautiful sunsets can be enjoyed from the fire pit and pier. The water depth at the pier didn’t allow the kids to jump off the pier but the kayak is there for anyone to use and was nice to have. The driveway accommodates multiple cars. The owner is very accommodating and helpful and we would definitely return.

Beautiful Property

Drake on The Lake was everything in the listing, plus so much more! The beauty of the place is definitely exactly as the pictures represent, but the time spent on the covered wharf on the swing watching and listening to the birds and ducks was so relaxing! Dean Simon is also THE BEST property manager I’ve ever dealt with; so professional, prompt and friendly with answers to all questions!
