Has Everything
This cottage had everything we needed for our one week stay. Donna was so easy to contact if we needed anything. Don’t forget to find beach needs in the shed. I even found reading glasses in the desk, in case you may have forgotten that. ;)

A fabulous place to stay
Donna has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I even wanted to do a tad of mending and she had sewing things there. It seems like she thought of everything. It’s a lovely neighborhood about four minutes walk to the beach and close to restaurants in the very pretty town of Ventura, we plan to stay there again if we go to Ventura

Our hostess was very gracious. The place was well stocked with condiments, utensils, small appliances, etc. Nice dishwasher and disposal. Neighbors friendly. Cable TV nice as we watched the Olympics all week. Parking is doable. We would stay here again.

Wonderful week!
Great location, beach 5 minute walk, close to stores and delicious food; lovely yard, safe for our pets. Very well-stocked: DVDs, books, beach supplies, BBQ, kitchen stuff, towels, linens, etc. Space well-used--plenty of room for 4 adults. Queen beds very comfortable. Busyish area, but people are polite, and it's quiet at night. We felt safe and were able to relax and enjoy our week.

We stayed at the beach house for 4 nights while we visited Channel Island National Park. It’s convenient to the pier and other shopping locations. We enjoyed staying in the house to relax after a long day of outting.

Pierpont Bay cottage was a lovely, well cared for, and perfectly stocked home. The location was great. The beach was an easy couple minute walk. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to friends and family.

Great Family Fun
Stayed with my adult children, husband, and dog. We had plenty of room for all of us. Cottage has everything you need and more. Tons of DVDs and board games. We played Jeopardy two nights in a row. We flew a kite on the beach. Watched tons of sunsets and walked every morning on the beach looking at shells. Great location close to everything. Donna was a great host checking in on us and was available to answer questions. Full kitchen that I cooked breakfast in every morning. Lovely place to stay to explore Ventura.

What a great time!
This place was all we needed for a fun-filled ten days exploring the incredible beaches all along the Ventura Freeway 101, starting with the great beach right down the street. Everything we needed was offered - beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, big beach towels, even olive oil to get the tar off our feet! The house itself was cozy and clean, with every item and appliance you could ever need. Plus, a generous supply of paper goods, bathroom supplies, condiments, coffee and tea. We enjoyed breakfast at the house every morning and sitting in the garden at night, watching all the activity passing by. Donna was kind enough to meet us at check-in and review all the particulars about her home. There were lots of cool personal touches - things she has collected from the beach (my passion!!) and little kitchen and bathroom items that all lent a real homey feeling to the place. We sincerely thank her for sharing her home and would definitely stay again if we vacation in the Ventura area.

Wonderful Cottage to Stay at especially with a dog
Our family (me, my husband, adult son and dog) stayed at this cottage for a week and had a wonderful time. The pictures of the cottage are accurate. The beds are very comfortable. Donna has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The cottage is very well appointed. The front and back yard have lots of plants and flowers and every morning that we had breakfast at the cottage we looked out at the front garden and saw lots of butterflies and hummingbirds. Our dog loved looking out the big picture window in the Living Room at all the people and dogs walking by. We were always in the back yard when our dog was outside but we felt she was very safe because there were no places where she could get out. We've been to other VRBOs that were supposed to be dog friendly but actually had a lot of stuff that wasn't pet friendly. This cottage is very pet friendly. The floors are cement and super clean with throw rugs in all the rooms. We had such a wonderful time and look forward to renting here again.

Great place!
Nice little cottage by the beach. It's small but perfect for our family of four. All of the beach gear needed was provided and the location was ideal for going to the beach, the park, and Main street. It also had AC, which is not always needed when you are by the beach (but was a nice amenity to have) The owner was very attentive to our needs. This property was great, and we will rent again if available.
