"Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee."

"Excellent position at the top of the town. Cozy apartment and even though the heat wasn't allowed to be on yet for the season, it was certainly bearable on chilly October days/nights. Some people might dislike the church bells ringing in such close proximity but that never bothered us during our stay. The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing. "Es gibt ein etwas schwer, weil es eine steile Auffahrt gibt, zu erreichendes Grundstück. Nach dem Ausladen, kann der PKW aber auch gut auf der Straße geparkt werden. Das Haus war super sauber und hatte alles nötige. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Matratzen waren etwas weich und die Betten haben sehr auf jede Bewegung reagiert. Wir waren zu fünft und hatten ausreichend Platz. Eine Person musste auf der Couch im Wohnzimmer schlafen, dass war aber kein Problem."

"This is a historic and very beautiful property in Bellagio. While most of it remains outstanding, some areas require a tiny bit of maintenance. The weather was not very good when I visited and, unfortunately, the gym is outside of the main property. Small detail, but the overall experience was great. We especially enjoyed the traditional bar and the very attentive and nice staff, very nice indeed."
