Our party of three stayed here for about a week, skiing in Okemo during the day. The location was perfect for that: even though the resort was just 10-15 minutes' drive away, this property is located in a quiet neighbouring valley, so it feels like you're truly going home at the end of each day. Ludlow itself isn't the prettiest, but it has good amenities, including a large Shaw's food store.
The property itself has a good sized lounge, a large TV and a really great bay window, with a view across the surrounding countryside. The heating/cooling system was good, and the kitchen had pretty much everything you could imagine. If you're staying longer, there's also a large washer and dryer, which look new.
Sheryl and Trevor were great hosts, and were available if we needed them, but otherwise completely unobtrusive.
If you need to hire skis, I'd recommend Totem Pole - their website isn't the best, but don't let that put you off - we found the service and equipment both great.
Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. We think it would also be a beautiful location the rest of the year, with lots to do and see.
