"We completely enjoyed our week at the Pond House! The dogs loved swimming in the pond off the private island. We loved the privacy, spacious backyard with Adirondack chairs, kitchen, and overall vibe of the property. The house had plenty of room, good wifi for a couple of us working remotely and a huge kitchen that we made good use of. "We very much enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect. It was so quiet and relaxing. The house came with everything we would need, we only needed to buy groceries. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog to also be able to enjoy his time in freedom. The host was informative and helpful. We will definitely stay again! "

"The house is absolutely gorgeous, plenty of space, tons of things to do with family - board games, kayaks, BEAUTIFUL kitchen, the lake view is astonishing, and the decor in the house is trendy and just perfect. Not to mention that it’s close to the downtown area, we had dinner at the Eastside restaurant (excellent spot), and the maple creemees at Sweet Scoops are a MUST have. We will definitely be back! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED "

"Perfect for us & Sheba (our puppy). The cabin had everything we needed, coffee maker & grinder, stove, microwave, etc. The TV was great to get the local & national stations. Our host thought of everything from the utensils, pots & pans, dishware, spices, & other necessities to the towels, bathroom supplies, washer & dryer, storage space & outdoor amenities (grill, deck chairs, firepit...) The cabin was a perfect size for all of us, comfy chairs & sofa, A/C (we didn't need the heat) bed was OK....

"It was a great home, private location, fire pit, grill, everything that was to be expected. Nice little trail walk to the creek. I would come back. The management company needs to clean a bit better in general; e.g., on under furniture, dust, upkeep porch, and some manicuring of the landscape is needed. The bottom of the fire pit is rotted out and owner should get a new one. "

"There are a lot of good things about our stay. We loved being able to walk through Stowe at all hours. We loved the convenience of having a market right next door. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
