Family vacation at the beach!
This was a lovely cottage. We enjoyed staying there and looking for all the mermaids. We would recommend it highly to another small group. Enjoyed Stone Harbor and Cape May. Had a great meal locally at Jake's! And we would definitely recommend the ice cream place on Bay Shore Drive! Thanks for the opportunity to share your delightful home in this quiet neighborhood!

Awesome place!
This house is the perfect location, about a 2 minute walk to the bay. The house is small and cozy and perfect for a small family or two couples! We enjoyed the convenience items/linens provided. My only complaint was a few hairs in the bathtub and sand spurs in the carpets when we arrived. The sand spurs were difficult to remove and we were traveling with a baby so that was a stressor. Otherwise our stay was amazing and Kimberly was very helpful and quick with communication! We would stay again

Amazing place!
We had a great stay at the mermaid cottage! This was our 2nd time there and we can’t wait to come back. Great location - right near the beach and amazing hostess with attentive communication. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Stay
Beautifully and tastefully decorated!! Very clean, even to my standards! Which is pretty high, bit of a clean freak here. We loved hanging out in the screened porch area and playing corn hole in the yard. We also enjoyed taking a bike ride around the neighborhood and loved the private beach setting. Very relaxing stay.

10/10 Cozy, clean, and absolutely perfect!
The Mermaid Cottage is everything you’d ever want for a beach vacation! The most important part of any stay for us is always cleanliness and spotless is an understatement!! With young children it was such a relief to not worry about them playing throughout the house. The listing is true to every word! From the kitchen essentials, to the bikes, clean grill, and other fun surprises, it was above and beyond our expectations! Kimberly was extremely responsive and provided us with everything we needed ahead of and during our stay. I truly can’t say enough about the Mermaid Cottage and we will absolutely be coming back!!

First Family Vacation

First time Villas stay
Small, clean and quiet cottage that has nice amenities available. Safe neighborhood as well. Be sure to take the short walk to the bay for the beautiful sunsets and a short drive to local businesses for coffee, ice cream and dinner. Thank you, Kimberly, for a lovely stay. Would recommend. Took approx 16-18 minutes to drive to Cape May.

Amazing!
The area is beautiful the house is beautiful and quiet. Neighborhood is nice my son is special needs and everyone he said hi to was so nice and sweet to him! A lot of places to visit in just a short drive. The private beach was great for my children they loved the low tides we spent all afternoon out there. Host was amazing ready to answer questions about issues we will definitely be coming back!

Adorable cottage
We had a lovely mini stay! Having never been to Cape May, we chose the mermaid cottage because of its location. I’m so glad we did! It was perfect! The beach (a few steps away) was lovely and quiet. The home itself was perfect for our family. It had plenty of seating and comfy beds. We spent so much time on the screened in porch. It was fabulous!

Kimberly, thank you for allowing us to stay in this cottage home. The Mermaid Cottage is an excellent and very charming place to stay, this cottage was very clean. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here, we enjoyed the beach and the shopping. I would highly recommend you stay in this cottage home it will not disappoint you. I would definitely stay here again.

Weekend Away
We had a wonderful time at Mermaid Cottage! Kimberly was very easy to communicate with and made check in/out a breeze. The location was PERFECT! We had our two boys (7 and 8 months old) with us. The beach was a short walk, the water was nice and calm (perfect for young children) and the backyard was a nice size to play some lawn games. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

My family and I really enjoyed our relaxing stay. The home was clean and the host answered all of our questions quickly. My children loved walking to the bay during the sunset. The sunset is the best for family pictures!

Amazing location
This house was perfect for our family of four! The home was exceptionally clean and well stocked and was the perfect spot for our stay in Cape May. We loved that we were a short walk to the beach and could easily come back to the house for a pit stop. 15 minutes from Washington Square and nearby to great restaurants as well! Excellent communication from our host when we had a few questions about the area! If we visit Cape May again, this is where we will stay!

Girls Getaway to Explore Cape May!
Communication with the host was great right off the bat, very nice and responsive! Check out instructions were very clear and posted in multiple places in relation to the task being asked to complete before check out. The mermaid cottage was just as described upon arrival. Upon entering we were greeted by a nice welcome message that had your name written on the chalk board to welcome you during your stay! This was a very thoughtful and personable touch, and made us feel greatly welcomed upon arrival. The mermaid cottage was very clean upon arrival and of course had many mermaid decorations, which added a really fun touch to our stay and experience of Cape May. The cottage fit five people perfectly, everyone had their own beds and did not feel cramped. We really enjoyed the screened in patio, as it was a nice way to enjoy fresh air without the worry of bugs in the evening time. The location was perfect!! It was just a short drive away from the main town and many of the beaches. The cottage was also VERY close the bayside beach, which was easily accessible by foot! I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking to explore all that Cape May has to offer, as it is close to a lot of the Cape May attractions, yet far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet.

Perfectly relaxing weekend at the cottage
Ideal location walking distance to the bay, which is great for small children given the gentle shore and waves. The cottage had all the necessities and many nice to have amenities! Host was very communicative.

Another great stay!
Mermaid cottage is great. We’ve stayed now two years in a row and will plan to return next summer. Good communication with host. Tip: the basket on the green bike perfectly holds a coffee tray from bravado coffee, so it’s possible for one person to ride bike to Bravado and bring back coffee for more than one person.
