Wonderful Place to Stay!
Bob and Monty are fabulous and responsive property owners. They’re friendly and respond every time you need something. In their property you’ll find all sorts of extras. Coffee and all the fixins, personal toiletries in case you need them, a well stocked kitchen, all linens provided, excellent wifi, streaming TV, a good ac/heat unit and comfy beds and bedding. I’d be happy to stay here again anytime! Thank you Bob and Monty for the most excellent experience!

This is a great place to stay and fish or play! Very clean and close to town for anything you might have forgotten. This was our second stay and we are planning another. Monte and Bob are the most gracious hosts.

The cottage is even better than the pictures!
We are three sister in their 60’s traveling Route 66. We used this wonderful cottage to take a view nights off to recharge. The cottage is adorable but most importantly it is clean and well stocked. We spent most of our time on the dock kayaking and enjoying the scenery. We would recommended this place to everyone. Bob and Monte, thanks for sharing your home!

Perfect getaway
We rented the bunkhouse for the weekend. Bob and Monte (the owners) met us upon arrival and showed us where everything was. You don't need to bring anything but yourselves and your food. They have already thought of everything you will need to enjoy yourself. The bunkhouse was decorated beautifully, it was such a relaxing time. We can't wait to come back in the summer when we can enjoy the lake.

The Bunkhouse is a MUST STAY location
Owners were extremely helpful and could be there at a moments notice if needed. The cabin is pristine! Very clean, has everything you could need ... all we needed was our clothes and food. The view is BEAUTIFUL and the property is very well kept and easy to find and so close to the water! There is even a dock for your boat AND a really nice outdoor space and fire pit. If you are looking for a nice getaway then this property should be at the top of your list. We will definitely be staying there again.

Best quarantine getaway
This was the perfect retreat for us after months of not getting out. The cabin was beautifully decorated; everything we needed was available; and the accommodations were very comfortable. But, most importantly, Bob and Monte were gracious hosts. Highly recommend this property and the host!

Stop searching. You’ve found a gem! We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway! Bob and Monte were the perfect hosts, and we can’t wait to make this an annual tradition. Beautiful view and steps to the water. The accommodating dock equipped with up-to-date amenities including boat slip, seating, swim ladder, small fridge and space to share was the perfect addition to the fully upgraded cabin. The perks of what Bob and Monte offer, including their friendly hospitality, make this rental a notch above the rest. We can’t wait to revisit and highly recommend.

Great time
The place was awesome! Owners were awesome. They offered us food, told us best place to fish, offered up their extra minnow bucket. On the checkout day is was pouring down rain and Bob offered to pull the golf cart around and help load up my vehicle to avoid the extra trips in the rain! They wanted to make sure that we enjoyed our stay and we did!. Swim area is awesome. Nice and deep. Fish were abundant kids couldnt keep bait on the hook they were getting so many bites!. They offered us to their fishing poles and to teach us their techniques on how they catch fish... would love to go back and stay again! The views are beautiful and the family is friendly! Thanks again Bob and Monte! If it says anything, this is the place Michael Iaconelli a professional fisherman chooses to stay when he visits the lake! I definitely recommend!

Beautiful family getaway!
The Bunkhouse was the perfect place to stay on Grand Lake. The fishing was great, the cabin was well stocked, and beautifully furnished. The front covered porch is just steps away from your own private fishing dock, swim deck and boat slip. The owners have worked very hard to ensure that every aspect of your stay is wonderful, and they have succeeded. we will definitely be returning to this lakeside getaway!!
