Our Favorite Place!
Coming to the "Sunrise Cottage" always delivers a perfect getaway for us. We have been there many times over the years. It is located in a beautiful setting and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. Amazing property!
This is one of the best VRBO rentals you can find! Every aspect of the house is amazing from the lake view and proximity to town, down to the hand picked art and throw pillows. I highly recommend this house for your vacation.

This property is a dream!
Wow!! After reading the reviews, I had high expectations, and still they were exceeded. The views from this home are unreal. Almost every room has stunning, sweeping views. I think you could even go when the weather is awful and still have a great time because of the views from inside and how well the home is appointed. It was also pristine and charmingly decorated. Our favorite was the screened-in porch. The owners are as sweet as they can be, and the whole experience was an absolute dream. We have stayed at some really fancy luxury hotels that were far more expensive, and still this is definitely one of our favorite stays bar none. Do yourself a favor, and go for a visit!

Great location, great rental
This is a fantastic rental with beautiful outdoor sitting areas to enjoy the lake view. It faces east so you have great sunrise viewing and less direct sun during the heat of the day. We spent a lot of our time on the comfortable screened in porch. The rental is stocked with anything you might need and way beyond what is typically available in a rental. The beds were very comfortable. A lot of effort by the owners is evident to make this place feel like a home versus a rental. Highly recommend!

Great Lake House
The house was perfect for our family get away for my parents 50th Anniversary! We enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and spent most of our time outside enjoying the amazing deck and all the amenities. The house was stocked with everything we needed and the grocery store is less than a mile away. Perfect location! We definitely plan to return!

One of the best VRBOs I’ve ever stayed in! The house is beautiful and stocked with anything you could ever need for a stay at the lake. The panoramic view of the lake is breathtaking! The owners live next door and are incredibly kind and willing to help with anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this place and are already planning to book it for our family lake trip next year!

The home is amazing! The view is amazing! The home has everything you may need. The yard is great for a dog as the property is entirely fenced and it also has a little side yard that is fenced. The screened in porch is amazing as well. Comfort at its finest. This wasn't our first time here and it definitely won't be our last. Thanks Rick and Gloria for everything!

Never too old for fun!
This was the second stay for our group of 6 friends from our graduating class of 1964! We love Sunrise Cottage and its beautiful location and completely equipped and beautifully furnished rooms. Amazing kitchen!! Relaxing on the screened porch overlooking the lake is one of our favorite things!! The owners are right next door and fabulous if you need them. We'll be there again in 2025!

Family Lake Vacation
Our group included 6 adults and 6 children ages4-12. The property is absolutely beautiful!! The lake is perfect. Rick and Gloria do everything they can to make your stay wonderfully memorable. We rented a boat from G3 Boat Rentals which is conveniently close to the property. We had a great time. This was a return trip and we definitely plan to be back.

Relaxing and Beautiful!
My family and I have stayed here multiple times and each time has been wonderful. The views are breathtaking and the house has everything that you would need. The house and outside area are so relaxing as it feels like home. The hot tub was so refreshing. Rick and Gloria are so accommodating as well. We will definitely be back.
