"We stayed a magical night in this cozy yurt as our first nature getaway after moving to Minnesota this summer (minneapolis). It was so healing to breathe the fresh air, hear the rain fitter-patter and stoke the fire. we spent most of our blissful time curled up together with our books and the sounds of the forest. "We loved our stay in Ely. The property is new, well equipped and setup nicely to handle large groups (we were 8 adults and one infant). Marcus and Abby were very accessible and addressed the few minor requests we had proactively (with follow up to make sure we were happy with the results). If we can get the crew together again next year - we will definitely come back to the Ely Cabin. "

"Over all everything was as advertised and we were very satisfied and felt welcomed. I felt that there was a slight issue for my wife and I in getting up to the entry way. Both of us have very minor mobility issues due to age advancements but nothing that, in our current condition, would keep us from returning. "Reggie’s retreat was an amazing place to stay. The dog friendly touches like water bowls and poo bags were very much appreciated. Hiking trail in walking distance and close to Lake Vermilion where we fished a couple days. The rooms were pristine and the kitchen was great. Would highly recommend!"

"This was a nice place, however, the fact it is a multiplex was not touched upon in the description. There were at least 2 other parties there. They were in no way disruptive to our stay. Wouldn't have known they were there were it not for their vehicles. Just would have liked to known in advance it is a multiplex."

"This house is nicely renovated inside. Roku tvs in the living room and queen bedroom. There’s a double futon in the room next to the living room. Outdated couch and chair, but comfy! Things to note: bring blankets. There’s aren’t any for the double bed, and just the comforter for the two beds upstairs. I slept with just a sheet so my daughter could have the comforter. "If there was an option to leave a 10-star rating I would! This place was fantastic and has great amenities you don’t see at other rentals. We had a group of 4 fisherman and this place had ample parking and power outlets outside and the inside was clean and had everything anyone would ever need. Fantastic place and will be back! "

If you want a multi-generational group to gather here the owners need to address window coverings, especially in the one bathroom that has a shower that does not leak through the floor into the kitchen. "We brought our Girl Scout troop to stay for the weekend. Cute place, great layout. Couple of the beds were not quite what we expected (twin futons in loft) but over all it was great for the # we had. Girls loved having a room to themselves and the board games were a hit.
