The house was really clean and had al lot of space for everyone to spread out comfortably.The pool was honestly the star of the show as we spent hours in there and it was perfect for both the kids and adults. "Second time round, and it was even better than last year. The Atelier feels like home (we are even a bit jealous of whoever is occupying it right now), and is an ideal place to rest, relax and recharge your batteries. Peaceful, lovely, charming, and close to nice towns (Ruffec) or cities (La Rochelke, Poitiers, Angouleme). We do hope to go back soon to "our" gîte!"

"We throughly enjoyed our stay with Amanda and Graham, such lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us, it felt like we were staying with Friends. The gite was beautiful, home from home with French charm, it had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and the pool area was lovely and clean. We visited the local market in Lezay, lots of small towns with in 15 minutes for supermarkets and boulangeries"

"We stayed here for a couple of nights on our way further south in France.The location is so quiet and pretty and the fenced garden meant we could relax and not worry about the dog or the kids wandering too far. The pool is ideal for small kids with a clever ladder which means when you don’t want them to get in you can remove the ladder. "We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much."
