"We stayed for one night on our way home to Auckland from Wellington. Annette and her husband are welcoming hosts. She helped us with dinner recommendations and things to do. Their garden knowledge is fantastic and they were very happy to share their knowledge and experience with us. A lovely relaxing place with a very comfy bed and atmosphere. "

"A relaxing retreat in a quiet location. Vintage style granny vibe decor, this quaint cottage had plenty of room. The kitchen was well stocked. TV not smart but OK. The garden was nice with lots of fruit trees. Washing machine in bathroom was good but no extractor fan in bathroom and no insect screens to keep bugs out if windows left open.Beds were varied. Twin beds very comfy and queen bed too soft and very high off ground. Nice to have bed in conservatory, made a fabulous day bed for relaxing...

"Was a beautiful stay, where we could unwind from the hectic Xmas week we just had. Was a beautiful view of Mt Taranaki from our room window. He’s just as beautiful and staunch as the stories I have heard. First time I’ve been in the Taranaki area. Absolutely beautiful. Was good I was able to take my dogs also. "

"Everything about this spot and stay was seamless and stunning. The views, the location, the ability to still work (I was on a work trip) and have reception was an extra bonus. The host was great to communicate with and there was everything we could need. So happy the fire was stoked and ready to roll. "The whole place was amazing. Felt like arriving to a holiday resort. Plenty of room for everyone. Safety issues with children and pools were very well adressed. Felt safe. Pool area could have used an update to make it even more luxurious. There was a construction site next door but it did not bother us that much. The overall look had aged a bit from the pictures but we enjoyed our stay anyway."
