"People working at the Royal were great. The hotel was a little dated and the room was missing a few bulbs for the lights.. it served our purpose and was in town close to everything we needed. Spent every night in the bar area, drinks and food were good prices.. for breakfast go to the Blue bell inn…"

"Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. Everything worked as it should and there were lots of extras not normally given in this type of accommodation. "Amazing is an overused word. Was visiting apprentices in the port. Phoned to say would be very late. Kept kitchen open had very nice steak. Then went to suite. It was huge. Kitchen TV room, with everything including washing machine, and shower room. TV in living room and bedroom. View out the window directly to countryside. Nice breakfast. "

"This Inn is out on a limb, but a lovely spot. Unfortunately, our visit was apparently just after local farmers feeding fields, which permeated the rooms. This didn't prevent us having a lovely stay. Top things were, the food (evening menu, and breakfast), the room was comfortable and clean, and the owners were pleasant and welcoming. Areas for improvement were, we had a very dusty corner of the bathroom which seemed to have been missed (despite everything else being clean), the bathroom window...
