Lovely cottage with lots in walking distance
Well equipped for kids and babies. We really appreciated the high chair, cot and baby bath! This is an old stone house so it’s got a lot of character. Great for a long weekend/week. We stayed two weeks and found the beds to be a bit hard and uncomfortable , particularly for that long. The location is fab. Easy walk to pubs, cafes, shops, groceries. Super close to a bar beach ally nice park. It’s a great home if you’ve got kids! The only downside is that the pub 3 doors down can be rowdy and loud on Fridays and Saturdays. Otherwise noise was not an issue. The host was wonderful and very communicative/responsive.

Relaxing long weekend in Wallaroo
We enjoyed sitting on the front verandah and in the sunroom. Pleasant spots to watch the world go by and enjoy the sunshine. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay and enjoyed reconnecting with Wallaroo. Really appreciated the location of the house - so close to everything!

Comfortable, family friendly getaway!
We spent 6 nights here in mid December and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were very comfortable. There was plenty to see and do nearby. The property is very well located and we enjoyed drinks at the Bond Store, and found great coffee at The Smelter, both short walks from the house. We also found the proximity of the playground great for kids, and the Drakes for food shopping. We highly recommend this property and would stay again!

House with everything!
What a perfect little stay we had over the long weekend, so many extras included, great comfy beds, plenty of pots pans cutlery etc in the kitchen, beautiful and clean, great location. The dogs loved it too! We will be back

Perfect getaway
Stayed for 4 nights 5 days for a break from the city with my two girls 8,10yrs. This cottage was everything we needed and more! No need to drive as everything was walking distance to the shops & playground. Fully kit out home for a family, dvds, toys, amenities provided including fresh ground coffee, enough warm blankets, soaps, shampoo, cleaning products, kitchen appliances, the lot! We loved the country backyard and added a cute fairy garden under the frangipani tree! We will definitely come back. X

The House is fantastic.
The house was fantastic. Very luxurious in my opinion. The garden was lovely. I was thrilled when I arrived and looked through the house at what we had available to us. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

Great set up and communication with the owner. A bit surprised about tue toilet paper policy - 1 roll a day for 8 people, definitely not sufficient, ended up supplying our own in the end.

Great experience
Our short stay at Maldon was a wonderful experience. The house is unique. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The garden and backyard were magical. We travelled with two dogs and they literally didn't want to leave. They explored the outdoors and played all day long. For us, it was easy to relax under the trees or inside knowing the backyard is enclosed and the dogs are safe playing outside. My teenage boy even climbed the tree which is set with climbing steps! Overall, a great experience.

Great getaway with dogs
We had a great time away as a family with our dogs. Was perfect for our old dog but had to keep an eye on the younger one with the low gate but didn't have any issues. Super close to pub, Cafe, supermarket, beach. Would stay again if in the area
