Family Celebration
This property was extremely warm and comfortable. The country views were impressive and the property grounds fabulous for bird watching. We had a wonderful family time enjoying the surrounds and the close proximity to the wineries. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. I would highly recommend this Stayz accommodation.

We could not love this property more! Everything was perfect and all the little touches were fantastic. Communication was great. The location was excellent for visiting the local wineries and beautiful to simply relax. Highly recommended for everyone, you will want for nothing!

Beautiful country stay
The property was absolutely beautiful with amazing veiws from every angle of the house. It was the perfect location to get ready on the morning of our wedding. Barbara was so accommodating throughout the whole process and made everything so easy for us. We will definitely be back to stay.

Winter break
Our family had a lovely 3 night stay here. The house is amazing - clean, comfortable, well furnished, with modern yet cozy decor. The grounds are well maintained, walking around is very peaceful and you feel you are remote, yet the place is conveniently located near Canberra. Loved seeing kangaroos wander around nearby, and views of the mountains to the south. The owners are lovely. No complaints and would strongly recommend this as a "country cottage" style break from the city / work. We didnt want to leave, and will be back again!

A perfect large and comfortable house for a family gathering, set on a beautiful property. The bed configurations were flexible to suit our needs. Very modern kitchen and bathrooms, with lovely big bath towels. Barbara and Peter were so easy to communicate with. We would love to return for another stay.

Home away from home
We had a great experience with Barbara and John in Wallaroo. They not only allowed us an early check in and late checkout if we needed, they were more than accommodating of anything and everything we needed. The property itself is gorgeous and the sunset views are to die for! We stayed over Christmas and hosted two families with comfort. A portable crib was available for our newborn and little decorations to really make it feel like our own. Beds were all very comfortable too which is always a bonus. We will definitely be booking again when family next all travels over to Canberra for an extended stay.

Loved our stay. Property is nicely hidden away from the world. No neighbours to annoy with having some fun. The beautiful mountains in the distance you can look at all day while you either make a fire pit or sit on the balcony with a nice wine in hand. The property is very clean, nicely furnished and the beds are very comfy. Barbara the host is lovely to deal with and made sure we had everything we needed. We cannot wait to visit again next year.

Brown Owls High School Reunion.
Sensational property! Could not fault a single thing. Loved and appreciated the little added extras of choccies, wine and coffee. Wonderful views and endearing night-time froggy chorus. Easy drive to all of Canberra's highlights, in particular the fabulous National Arboretum.

It was an overall a very pleasant & comfortable stay
We were very happy with the house. It was very neat and tidy and it was perfect for our little getaway. It was well equipped with all necessities and we all felt very much at home. Perfect Family Getaway
Hygge house was sensational and the perfect house for our family of 6 adults , 1 child and 3 babies . There was ample space for all to enjoy the peace and serenity . The beds were super comfy and the kitchen a joy to cook up a feast . The outdoor areas are stunning and we loved the fire pit at night after watching the stunning sunsets. We enjoyed a picnic lunch outside in the paddock near the house amount the very pretty garden . Barbara was wonderful to deal with and made our stay perfect in everyway - thank you ! We also enjoyed a wonderful family lunch at Surveyors Hill and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the quaint village of Hall. Plenty to see and do nearby if you can make yourself leave the gorgeous home which is perfectly designed for small group living .

Beautiful house, scenery and hosts
This is our first rental from Stayz and the Hygge house completely exceeded our expectations. Barbara was such a kind and thoughtful host. We were delighted by the small details around the house - from the chocolate treats, bottle of wine and squeezing us in to help feed the horses on the morning that we check out. The property was so peaceful that we even foregoed some of our weekend plans so that we could enjoy the serenity a little more (which we did not regret at all!) Thank you Barbara and Peter for your hospitality. We hope to be back again soon!

suit for family trip to Canberra
The location is hidden in valley where is 20mins driving from Canberra town centre. The house is super comfy and clean and was perfect for us to stay to enjoy the farm and garden, the sunset is just beautiful. Nice owner are very kids friendly.
