"This was a very cool place to stay right on Bay Street and close to everything! The back deck looks out on the river where we saw plenty of wild life and a spectacular view of the historic bridge. It was very private and quiet even though it was in the heart of the town. It was beautifully restored and I highly recommend to stay here."

"We loved staying at Heron's Hideaway! The cabin was perfect for three adults and our water-loving dog. We paddled around the lake in the canoes and kayaks, swam off the floating dock, watched birds, read books on the sunny deck overlooking the lake, cooked in the well-equipped kitchen (love a rental that comes with a salad spinner!), played cards, and did a 500 piece puzzle. "I absolutely love this home and amazing views, provided entertainment to the family with fishing, hot tub, games, puzzles, and a place to cook on the barbecue and in the kitchen. Love the proximity to town and restaurants.The home is very unique with a spiral staircase, and the three levels. The bed from the loft has the best view ever straight out to the lake when you wake up in the morning. Thank you for sharing your home with us."
