Sisters weekend
5 sisters stayed from Nov 1-5, 2024. Place was cozy could have used a good dusting, but other than that it was wonderful. Right on superior even though it was chilly the view is awesome. Had a great time went shopping and out to eat. It is close to a lot of shops just a few miles down the road. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Cozy lake home right on Lake Superior with amazing views
Our family of four enjoyed our time at this cute and comfy lakeside home. The views of the lake were amazing, and we loved the time we spent on the private beach. The water is shallow and warm enough for swimming, which our kids greatly enjoyed. This is definitely a great house for spending lots of time on or looking at the lake, which was top priority for us.

Very Pleasant
This is a wonderful location with a fresh breeze coming off the lake during the day. 6 people were easily accomodated--5 adults + 1 child <3yrs. Within easy striking distance of Bayfield.

We had a great time at this house on Lake Superior. We chose it based on its private beach front and closeness to Bayfield. Had zero issues. Would stay again if we were ever in the area. Thanks!

The cabin was clean spacious and comfortable. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and good selection of music and fun games to play. The setting on Chequamagon Bay was peaceful and beautiful. We would love to visit again.

Grandparent tour
We had a wonderful time visiting with my niece in Washburn. The house was perfect for my 85 year old parents. You can't beat the view or the sandy beach.

Winter quick get away
All was in order and comfortable. Gorgeous view and clean home! We enjoyed lovely nordic trails and alpine skiing at Mt. Ashwabay and breakfast at the Black Cat in Ashland. A winter stay in the Northwoods is always chilly. One suggestion is to warm up the house for our arrival it was 55. Though we understand the need to conserve, we didn't find the blankets in the trunk until the 2nd night. Maybe including that info in the binder for the winter guests? Jon was persistent with communication - text and email which helps as cell up north is spotty. We didn't trust the ice this year, too early and unfamiliar with currents. Overall it was a wonderful (though brief) getaway!

Wonderful Washburn Beach House
We had a delightful time at the Washburn Beach House. The view of Lake Superior was stunning. The living area was very spacious and kitchen well equipped. The location was convenient to take an Apostle Island Cruise, see an apple orchard, hike the nature trails and enjoy good eats. I highly suggest Cafe Coco, right in Washburn.

Beach was amazing.
The sand beach was great. The house is an old cottage, which is reminiscent of days gone by...which is kinda cool. It was clean and the kitchen had everything you needed. The view from the living room couch was stunning...we watched the sun rise every day. I was; however, disappointed in the furnishings. The old blue curtains, which are on every window in the main living area, are literally ripped to shreds on several windows and the chairs and the ottoman in the living room are worn and so it gives the air that everything is from a rummage sale and seen better days. With that being said, the property is gorgeous and the beach is worth the price of admission. The owners made check in, instructions on check out etc very easy.

Beautiful vew.. love the beach side cocktail area and fire pit. Close to Ashland and Washburn downtown areas. Close to Bayfield...about 15 minute drive. Caution...lots of places closed on Sundays in all places and on Mondays in Ashland and Washburn. Home is well stocked with kitchen supplies and bathroom. Big livingroom window facing lLake Superior.. cute decor. No washer/dryer or ironing board. Or water crafts for use. Quiet peaceful neighborhood.
