Great location and floor plan
We stayed here at the end of April. While the apartment wa very nice - i think “Luxury” is a bit of a stretch.Pros:Location Location Location - only a 5 min walk from the Metro at Crystal City. Walking distance (or short Lyft) to restaurants and Whole foods.Price - very reasonable compared to hotel prices for the same time periodFloor Plan - large apartment with 2 large bedrooms - 2 full baths, large living area and an updated kitchen.Beds - very comfortable ConsKitchen items (skillets, etc) were old and due for replacement no dish towelsBathroom - only one towel per person, shampoo and body wash provided was budget linesCloset - while the walk thru closet in the master was very nice - only 2 hangers were providedLiving Room - furniture was not comfortable and needs a couple more end tablesBedrooms - could use some curtains for the windows - the shades were nice but let a lot of light throughOther: while this is not the owners fault - it was not fully explained…the note in the listing says “HVAC operates seasonally”…the building heating/cooling system is regulated by the city. They were in the process of switching the boiler system from heating to cooling while we were there. The AC could not be turned on until after our stay. it was a warm week in DC. the apartment did not get below 74 degrees and that was with fans and the windows open. Sleeping w the windows open was not ideal for someone with allergies as well as a lot of traffic noise.
