"We had our 20th annual Friendsgiving here. The place is amazing! I think the group consensus is we plan to book this place each year for our celebration. Hosts were very helpful and quick. View was great. Tons of rooom but I think we just stayed in the kitchen and hot tub. Thanks again! Great place for large groups. "

"We were very pleased with layout, cleanliness and location of this VRBO. The home was furnished nicely and had everything we needed except for a corkscrew but we had one in our car :) and a cheese shredder (or I couldn't find it). 5 Stars from us!!"

"It’s super close to downtown Yorkville!! So in the months with better weather it would be perfect to stay and walk to the few restaurants downtown and little shops and the river area. We arrived a little early and the host let us in and was able to change the codes around so we could check in as it was cold out! So super accommodating helpful!! Also the garage is a bonus but anything larger than a mid range suv is not going to fit as parking is tight! The only issue we had was the neighbors were...

"We were disappointed in this unit. This is a very old building that needs a lot of work. The windows are filthy. The front door mats are bunched up in a pile on the front stoop. The ‘movie themed’ decor was chinsy at best. The parking area is filled with garbage, broken cinder blocks, a tire, and a junked car. There weee old shoes on balcony. "This space was excellent for all of our needs and more! We have family in the area and we were able to just walk everywhere needed. Excellent restaurant across the street. We have walked by this space countless times in the past when we lived downtown and never knew about it. The train that goes by is loud like a train should be but just added to the charm of the area cant say enough great things about it. Cant wait till our next stay!"

"We have stayed at many places, this place takes the cake! The owners had everything you would ever need. The communication was great also! My family and I enjoyed sitting by river and staying warm by the fire (again everything you need, yes even fire wood. The home and the grounds were very clean as well. Will definitely be back! "

"Our family (5 sisters) went on an intensive retreat with a coach at this house. It is a beautiful home. The owners were first time VRBO and offered a beautiful space for our healing. Due to their inexperience, they left the refrigerator full and dirty. It was the maid that ultimately did not complete the clean. Once we cleaned it out we were able to move 2+ days of food into the garage refrigerator and manage our meals and groceries well. The house shined more and more each day we stayed there....
