We decided to add time to our stay, and the owner revised our second reservation to avoid us being charged a cleaning fee again. This was something the owner caught and took care of voluntarily. Our only complaint would be the window air conditioning units not quite keeping the bedroom cool, but that wouldn’t keep us from staying here again!"

"The photos are accurate as far as descriptions but cottage is much larger than it appears in photos. It was immaculate kitchen well equipped even had extras such as spices coffee honey etc which I ve never seen in past units I have booked Bedrooms roomy additional linen available AC which was a blessing. "We loved staying here! The home is beautiful, clean and updated. It is centrally located to many Thousand island towns, which we visited. We loved relaxing on the deck and the rocks for the waves, sunsets, and fishing. There was only one bad part having to leave! A grill, firepit and a raft would be bonuses. Mosquito zappers or citronella candles are much needed. "

"Many yrs ago I spent time in Alexandria bay and brought my grandchildren to the thousands island area to make fond memories for them. Words can't explain how disappointed I was with that area. Clayton was so beautiful and accommodating. This property was wonderful and very clean. When we return to Clayton we will stay here"

Amazing huge deck to view the loons, swans, ducks & geese. 5 bedrooms & 2 baths were perfect for my family of 8 people with a long dining table so we could all sit down together. Owner was very responsive for extra water and trash removal. Close to lots of activities including an Alpaca farm! "
