"We stayed this past week with our two dogs, and it was a wonderful family vacation. We stayed in the Blacksmith Cottage, which was fully-furnished with everything we needed. The kitchen was clean and well-stocked with pots and pans, and the oven and fridge were great to have. The bathroom was clean and comfortable. "The River House at Claremont was one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. I am a huge Gone With the Wind fan and this property brought you back to the South prior to the Civil War all we needed were ball gowns to make it really authentic. The house was well appointed with the necessaries (toilet paper, tissues, and toiltetries). In addition the kitchen pantry had salt, pepper, flour and other staples. The interior of the house is amazing with much of the furniture handmade by the owner...

"We love staying at Kingsmill. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches at The Mill are a must. Great walking trails and close to everything. We had other family staying on property so meeting up was easy. The Landing had excellent food and a beautiful view of the water. The kids rented jet skis down at the dock and at night we had a bonfire in the beach with s'mores.( Added fee with the resort) Great family vacation. "

"Lovely house with plenty of room to spread out and well situated for everything we wanted to do, including Jamestown, Busch Gardens, and William and Mary. The pool was a huge bonus and we enjoyed all the little touches like toilet paper, paper towels, and keurig cups. The kitchen was well stocked and parking was simple. We would come back!"

"We had an amazing stay! This was perfect for transporting our soldier to his AIT at Fort Lee. It is 5.3 miles from the base, so we were granted a Family Pass for the weekend.
