ADORABLE CABIN - GREAT OWNERS
This cabin is so adorable and has plenty of space. The owners are the sweetest, most accommodating, patient people ever! My husband and I were in town to help with hurricane relief. We were hauling a 20ft trailer with equipment. I reserved their Red Bird cabin initially but our truck & trailer didnt fit very conveniently at that location. Lisa and Ben were kind enough to allow us to move to a different cabin (Brookside) with more parking space for our equipment. AND they were patient enough to let us back into Red Bird when we forgot something! LOL! They have thought of just about everything in this cabin. Its very cute, has tons of supplies, dishes, utensils and even the most adorable little space to keep your pets. Its a gated in space that goes under the steps to the upstairs...they even have dog dishes and a blanket. We didnt bring a pet but how thoughtful. Im always leary renting a place that allows pets because you never know if it will have an odor of pets, which we have experienced in hotels and I am extremely allergic. At this cabin you would never know there were ever any animals there in the past. It is probably one of the cleanest rentals we have ever stayed in. I would recommend anyone to stay at this cabin. The other 4 cabins they have are further up into the woods. This one is near the road but it was still extremely quiet and private. It is also very close to stores and places to eat without even knowing your that close. We will stay again!

Beautiful mountain cabin in quaint location
We enjoyed our stay at the Brookside cabin in Laurel Mountain Retreat. The property is beautiful and remote. Wildlife is all around, and the cabin is great for families who are looking to get away from it all. Loved the surrounding town of Weaverville, with some nice parks, and a downtown area that offers a nice mix of restaurants, boutique shops, and art galleries. This is also a great place to take your dogs!

We stayed 2 nights. This is a very cozy cabin with a cute layout. My only qualm was that it’s advertised as being secluded, but you’re right on a road with neighbors next door. Would stay again!

Convenient cabin
My family and I stayed here for two days just as a quick rest stop on our way to the beach. The cabin was conveniently located near several restaurants and stores and only about 15 minutes from Asheville. We enjoyed our stay for the short time we were here!

Asheville Get Away
Property exceeded our expectations and was one of the best finds we've found. The home was charming, had all the essentials needed, and made us not even want to leave. This home was very dog friendly and our pups felt right home and enjoyed laying out on the wrap around porch. The location of the property was less than 15 minutes from downtown Asheville and provided us the needed privacy we were searching for on this trip. We look forward to coming back and will rent one of the cabins on this property. The owners were very responsive and helpful during our stay!

Great Getaway
The house was perfect getaway for our family (including the fur baby). The built-in crate under the stairs was perfect when we needed to leave our pup for a couple of hours. Location was perfect! Great to check out the amazing restaurants in Weaverville and just a quick 15 min drive to Asheville.

Long Weekend Getaway
Visited with our dog for a long weekend from NY. Cabin had everything you could need. Quaint, cozy & charming. Great location, easy access to the highway for site seeing, access to Asheville & the Blue Ridge Parkway. Weaverville Main St is just 5 minutes down the road, lots of great restaurant options.

Perfect place to recover from an accident
Excellent cabin for recovery; the all accessible ramp and bathroom were very much appreciated. The location was very very quiet, and had ample room on the property for our dog to run and play. I loved how easy it was to get to Weaverville, Asheville, and the mountains. When I needed a different mattress, the owners were very accommodating, and I loved having coffee and wine on the front porch swing.

So nice we didn't want it to end.
My fiance' and I enjoyed a peaceful weekend. The cabin and surroundings were excellent. We loved the peace and quiet. Our morning tea on the porch allowed us to watch an occasional rabbit or beaver. We are already planning our next visit in the fall.

Love! Love! Love!
My husband and I fell in love with this property and the area. The cabin was just as described. There are so many things we enjoyed. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The bed and the bedroom itself was amazing. We loved the window AC unit in the bedroom. The sound lulled us to sleep every night and we slept better than we have in a long time. Bed was very comfortable. We had a great time hiking and visiting Asheville. We plan on coming back in the colder months so that we can enjoy the cozy gas fireplace. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay so comfortable!
