"We LOVED this property, the ranch house is very comfortable and has everything you need. Our host Bill was great, he had great suggestions for activities and sight seeing. We enjoyed watching the 2 horses and the cattle meandering in the meadows just outside the ranch house. My wife and I with our 2 beagles spent 5 great days here, much of our time was spent on the ranch hiking and exploring the meadows, creeks, ponds and forests FANTASTIC VIEWS in every direction. "Love the look of the stone building. We just stayed one night on our way to Portland. Had good meal at Dunsmuir Brewery Works which has an outdoor eating space where we could bring our dog. It is an easy walk out the back gate to the brewery. Fold out couch is comfortable for a fold out couch, wasn’t bothered by metal bars like on some. Water bed is more comfortable. Although house is across the street from train station so there is noise from the trains. "

"Nice roomy cabin with lots of open space. There were five of us staying at this time and everyone loved the experience. The beds were very comfortable and the large property was very nice just to walk around and enjoy. we were here with our cars for a car show, and the only negative thing was that the driveway was gravel and dirt and made for a lot of extra cleaning prior to our show events."

"Wonderful cottage that is incredibly private (even though it’s below the home). Well stocked kitchen with good knives and appliances (something people tend to skimp on). We had a wonderful time here and look forward to coming back with our lil’ dog. Host was friendly and communicative- and we had our IRL neighbors in the other unit so it was awesome for shared dinners, drinks on the patio (coffee and wine), and game night. Dunsmuir is a wonderful little town and a nice escape from SF. Can’t wait...

"This house was perfect for our three generations, ages 6 months to 72. Kitchen was well-equipped, game room, outdoor toys, zipline over the pond, enormous grassy field, and an outstanding view of Mt Shasta. Easy check in, and minimal check-out requirements. Our only negative is that we didn't book for more days!"

"The property was just as described. A wonderful little home away from home. It is more like a smaller one-bedroom than a studio . Everything was clean, well supplied and comfortable. Lindsey, the property manager, was very attentive for any needs we might have had. If we are ever in this area again this is our first choice, and the price was very affordable for us seniors."

"We absolutely loved this place. The cabin itself is very cute and the setting is beautiful and relaxing. There are train tracks nearby and our young son absolutely LOVED watching the trains from the front window. After seeing the back area and the river itself I really wish I had brought my fishing gear. We will most definitely be back!"

"There was a lot of garbage in the baskets, and people's clothes hanging outside, also the pool is in super bad condition, I think that in summer it is important to have a pool service available, the staff is super super friendly!! A very good place with good people, but it can be better"
