Great cabin for fall hiking
The photographs in the listing barely do justice to this place. And calling it a cabin is something of a understatement. It was very comfortable with a lot of light and very spacious. Well appointed with all the necessities. It was a great base for our weekend of hiking and I hope to come here again next year. The property manager was helpful and responsive. Overall, we have no complaints but only compliments.

Unique, spacious
Characteristics of this home were nice. We certainly appreciated the architectural elements throughout. We did arrive a half hour early and the house was still being cleaned, which was not a problem. We entered the home and there was a bit of a musty smell, but the area did have a lot of rain prior to our arrival so this may be understandable. Cleanliness of the house was generally OK. There were things that were noticeable, but we dealt with it. Major problem with flies everywhere. Not sure if this was due to excessive rains or what. The location of this property is convenient to Pine Gorge, and the town of Wellsboro. This would be very beautiful in the fall.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house!!! It is very clean and well appointed. We were especially pleased with the spacious kitchen and dining area which proved to be perfect for meals with our extended family. The outdoor fireplace was a favorite evening gathering place! Three day ski vacation-cation
Went for a long weekend to the Wellsboro area for a day of skiing, and to visit the PA Grand Canyon. This house is ideal. It is very close to town yet outside of the main area so you feel secluded. It has a rustic vibe but all the modern amenities and has the hottest and best water I have ever had a shower in! Huge well-stocked kitchen, and we made lots of food during our stay We had marshmallows on the fireplace on the side deck, which was lovely and plenty of seating…. We will definitely come back and rent this house again we had a great time!

Beautiful lodge near the pine creek trail
Very comfortable setting, clean and spacious. We loved being so near to great hiking and biking. The lodge was great. The cozy fire in the outdoor fireplace on the covered porch was a memorable way to end each fun filled day. I highly recommend and will definitely return.

Annual Family Trip
We are from Pittsburgh and pick a place to drive every summer and chose the PA grand canyon this year. Loved the house ... very homey! Has all the ammenities that you would need and is centrally located between grand canyon and the town of Wellsboro. I would recommend this house to anyone. Sabrina was great also with giving recommendations on restaurants and things.

The online listing looked fantastic and it was even better in person. Amenities were more than expected. With 3 adult couples there was plenty of room and privacy. We were all over the moon with the accommodations. We are already trying to figure out when we will return.

Quick getaway
Great property. This house is beautiful and spacious. We are a family of 4 (2 teen boys) and one large Labrador. We wanted a quick getaway to see the PA Grand Canyon. The town of Wellsboro is so cute and has some very cute shops and great restaurants. The house is so nice and spacious. We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace on the deck. It was very peaceful here. The hosts are quick to respond although we had no issues on our trip. They do reach out before you go and meet with you upon arrival. Such a lovely place would stay again.

Relaxation in Wellsboro
Fantastic location to hike, bike, dine, and see a movie. Lots of local restaurants. The house had everything we needed to stay in and cook most meals. The beds and linens super comfy! Fireplace on the deck was a nightly activity we looked forward to. Grocery very close. Laundry on premises was great for our friends who rode in on a motorcycle, as they packed light. Sabrina, the manager met us and made sure we had all we needed. Excellent place to relax. We look forward to the next visit!!!!!

Family Gathering
When you open the door and walk in the house just makes you smile. It's beautiful and the online pictures do not do it justice. Great place to stay and manager went over an above to make our stay special. We enjoyed being in Wellsboro and went downtown (5 minute drive) to dinner. Wellsboro reminds us of a Hallmark movie set. Beautiful gas light line main street at night! As we were there during the winter we woke to snow falling across the beautiful view. The home provided us with everything we need during our stay. We will visit here again!

Amazing Space
My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs and we all absolutely loved the house and property. As many noted in their reviews, the pictures do not do the property justice. We will absolutely return. Great friends weekend!
My husband and our friends were looking for a long weekend getaway. We heard about the PA Grand Canyon and found this amazing listing in the area. The house exceeded expectations. It was perfect for the 6 of us, we were able to watch all sports games, play games, and cook all meals at the house with all the cookware provided! We had such a great time, we were planning our next trip before we left :)

Gorgeous place
The lodge is beautiful and so is the property. The location is great, just a few miles to Wellsboro and the Pine Creek Gorge. The kitchen was perfect for me as I love to cook. I do wish there had been blinds or curtains throughout the house, not just in the bedrooms and bathrooms. It's highly unlikely that anyone would be able to see anything, but it was a bit unnerving and when the sun was setting it was pretty blinding in spots. The fact that we were unable to adjust the heat ourselves was rather weird. We could call the property manager to come unlock the covering and adjust it, but I wasn't going to call her to turn the heat down two degrees. We just opened the windows. All in all though, we very much enjoyed our stay and hope to come back. The property is just beautiful and, for the most part, very comfortable.

Fabulous Getaway!
The home is magnificent. It’s larger than what appears in the photos online, and it’s very clean. The property manager was fantastic too! We just returned from a long weekend at this house with our entire family (mom, dad, two adult children and their significant others plus our two dogs). The house is nicely sized for 6 -8. There are three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths and a sleeper sofa. The kitchen/living and dining rooms are all open to one another with two big decks off of the space (one on the back and another on the side) the side one has an outside fireplace. The house was clean and some basic pantry items were provided. You will need to bring food /drinks or stop at the grocery store which is only 10 minutes away. There is a liquor store in town as well for wine/hard stuff. The house is located near (but not on) the pine creek. The access to the creek and trail is about an 8 minute drive. I definitely would recommend this house for a trip in this area!
