Beautiful apartment in a lovely neighborhood

Neat, clean, well decorated ---the king size bed was absolutely the best sleep experience we've had! We enjoyed being in walking distance of restaurants and local businesses. The surrounding neighborhood features homes dating back to the late 1800's, early 1900's making for an interesting and relaxing walkabout. The hosts were attentive checking in with us to make sure our stay was comfortable.

Beautiful place

This is our 3rd time staying here. We will always come back to the Kildahl house.It so clean and comfortable and it’s perfect location for the restaurants and shopping. You will be very happy when you make reservations here.

Wonderful stay! Wish we were there longer!

What a wonderful place to stay. Truly we had no idea how cute the town was or how incredibly nice the apartment was or else we would have arrived much earlier than we did. We loved the cute little porch swing and slept great in the bed. The welcome snacks were a great touch and much needed since we arrived late and didn’t have much to eat with us. I highly recommend staying here!

Great Apartment

I come to Dundee regularly for family, so I have to be in town. But this apartment is so great, I'd come here even if I didn't have family in the area!

Beautiful accommodations

The apartment is beautifully appointed and perfectly located close to restaurants and the walking path along the river. Parking was easy and the property was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was adequately appointed for preparing meals, which is often not the case - had just what was needed and nice items. Will definitely hope to stay here again.

Charming Oasis in West Dundee IL

This property was spectacular. We had a long travel day and our mood changed the minute we walked thru the door of Kildhal House. Its beautifully decorated and was very welcoming complete with a goodie basket with a few essentials. The whole place was spotless and the furnishings were ultra comfortable. Great linens and towels and a very comfortable king bed. The climate control in each of the living spaces were great as we could adjust the temperature in minutes. The tv’s were great and the adjustable mounts made viewing easy. We will be staying here on all of our future trips in this area. We were in town visiting friends and actually showed off our place to them. They were grateful to see it and will be recommending this property to other family and friends for future visits. We can’t say enough good things about a great experience. The location to downtown restaurants and shops were great. It was also cool to hear church bells ringing one of the morning's. Do not hesitate to stay here as this will be the only property we will consider on future trips to the area.

Quick trip to see our kids/grandkids

The room was so well appointed and well done! My husband and I were able to spread out a bit too! Many one bedroom places are cramped and loud! Our room was very comfortable! We always found convenient parking and the location is walkable to many shops and restaurants! We enjoyed this trip very much.

Great place to stay

We stayed for a week to visit friends & family. This was one of the nicest places we have stayed! Location was extremely convenient and the accommodations were superb! Loved the decor as it was very comfortable. The hosts were quick to respond and help with any questions or issues that arose! Thank you Suzanne & Andy! We’ll be back for sure!

Amazing Accommodations at the Kildahl House

We had an amazing weekend stay at the Kildahl House while visiting family in the Chicago area. The house was exactly as described - clean, private, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We plan to stay again next time we are in town visiting family. This house is 100% better than staying at a hotel.

Surprising luxury

Could not be more pleased with the accommodations. This is a high-end luxury apartment, beautifully appointed. Very comfortable king bed and large bathroom with long double vanity and wal-in shower. This will definitely be our go to for future trips.

West Dundee stay

This is an outstanding place, well furnished, easily walkable to lots of retaurants and bars, plus entertainment. Parking was great- on street in front or lot across the street. We gonna wanna stay there whenever we're in town.
