Great stay
Felt more remote than it is, which is just what we wanted. Spent lots of time in the gazebo. Odd design so that light shines into bedrooms from other rooms at ceiling, but slept great anyway. Well stocked and clean, very comfortable. We would return for another family get-together.

Not for us.
This was our first VRBO experience and this place looked like a dream, we opened the door and instantly got slapped in the face with a smell..... Some thought mildewy, I smelled fish.... The furnishings we're beautiful in the living space. Went back to the bedrooms /bathrooms - beds are small, your choice is a full or twin. The room I chose 2 of the lights on the ceiling didn't work and the bedding was white with black fuzzies on them, I can see she washed it with black pillows but still did not seem appealing to lay my head on these.. she did have extra pillows I used. The bathroom wasn't cleaned, sink and faucet was filthy. We then started putting away food and noticed an ant family had moved in on the counter. I called the owner just to report things as I didn't want blamed for scuffs on the wall, ants, THE SMELL, asked if the property had been cleaned? (Even the floors had debris from not being swept?) Property owner (whom was very nice) apologized and said that the previous people left the place in disrepair, broke the bathroom door and cooked something putrid prior to leaving.... She said the sink was stained like that, however I cleaned it? And she did say the home had been cleaned. We enjoyed most of our time in the gazebo to be out of the smell, however there is a new home being built next door with a family w 3 small boys that kept the neighborhood very lively well just say. Between them playing and construction it was hard to find peace outside. ☹️

Different in a good way.
Really cool unique house. With all the things and more that you need for a weekend getaway. Comfortable spaces for hanging around and whenever you’re ready for bed a clean cozy place to sleep away from the main house.

With limited house rental options nearby, this house works
The backyard patio was great and we lucked out with nice weather to enjoy. While the primary bedroom was comfortable, the other guests all complained about uncomfortable beds. Property could use some attention- primary bedroom tv didn’t work. Property guide that includes how to use outdoor fire pit would be helpful. Kitchen and laundry room could use a deep clean.

Beautiful place
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Only suggestion was that the pillows get updated, some had funky odors from previous use and it made iy hard to use. Also the blankets in the closet were all very stale and had odor of previous use which made it hard to enjoy or use any of them. I would still rent this place. Beautiful place

great spot for a family reunion
The house and property were large and roomy and as advertised. There were a couple of small glitches that were remedied moments after contacting the host. We even received a prompt refund for 2 tanks of propane we purchased. Hosts were exceptionally responsive and happy to help us. Would stay there again!!
