"We booked this for a long weekend with the family to watch the eclipse and celebrate my nephew's birthday. The property was just as described; secluded, spacious, and quite charming. "We stayed here for a couple nights during the week in August. Everything was great. We had a fun time using the Kayaks and sitting down by the dock. It’s a small lake but was perfect for the kids to Kayak. The he house was clean and the neighbor we met was very nice. Perfect for a mid week getaway for my wife and kids and another couple and their daughter. "

"Our family had a wonderful time! The home was beautiful, even better than the pictures. The entire home is well thought out and has everything you could need in the kitchen. We loved sitting around the fire pit each evening. Our days were spent in the water. Swimming, using the provided rafts and kayaks. We had a truly relaxing and enjoyable time! Mike and Sue were kind and quick to respond with any questions we had. We would highly recommend this home! "

"We stayed for a long weekend and had a great time! Clean and very organized. We brought our kids ages 5, 3, and 8 months. Owners reached out and left a crib and a high chair for our youngest which was awesome. The beach was great for our kids. We really enjoyed the shed packed with kayaks, paddle board, chairs, and tons of yard games. House was well equipped with everything we needed. We loved the covered porch!"

But the spring mattress is terribly uncomfortable, the sink drain was backed up, the WiFi wouldn’t connect and the staff is mostly disinterested. Also, we checked in at 2am and were there for all of 9 hours - but had to leave a $50 fee for “incidentals” that they can take up to THREE WEEKS to return?
