Gateway to Horseshoe Heaven
We stayed for 9 days in this wonderful home in idyllic Horseshoe Bay. Everything about the home and Valerie’s very personal touch and hospitality is top notch. The location is convenient for restaurants, Nanaimo ferry trips, Squamish, and nearby Whytcliffe Park. It was warm for a few days, but having AC at the home is a much appreciated luxury. West Vancouver and Vancouver are worth the short car treks. Would highly recommend Ferry Walk House.

Fantastic Option
A friend and I stayed at the Ferry House for 8 days in late June and early July. It was exactly as depicted in the listing and Valerie' was a delightful host. She was not at all intrusive, but checked in periodically to see if we needed anything, and was very responsive when we did have a question. The proximity to multiple ferries ( literally 5 minute walk) was a great asset, allowing exploration of areas that were not reachable by car. Vancouver is 20 minutes away, and staying in Horseshoe Bay enabled us to avoid the traffic jams of the city as well as enjoy the quaint seaside village. The private lush garden of Ferry House was one of my most favorite things, allowing us to sit outside most nights with daylight to almost 10. This was our first visit to the area and Ferry House was 5 stars all around. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect!
Horseshoe Bay is delightful and gorgeous! This house is close to everything and just steps from the ferry. The Sea safari was spectacular, saw humpback whales! Don’t miss Bowen Island great food at Doc Morgans. A great place to stay!!!

Cute town, great getaway
We stayed at the Ferry Walk House for one month while we transitioned to a permanent apartment. This place is awesome! It’s clean and has everything you need to make it home away from home. It’s a 1-2 minute walk to the ferry. There are some restaurants and shops nearby. Easy access to the freeway if you need to go to the city or drive up the mountain. If you bring your four legged family member there is a trail close by (about 200 ft). Your host, Valerie, is a phone call or text away and very responsive to whatever you need. She greeted us on arrival and was there to bid us farewell. All in all I’d say this place is great as a home base for staying in Vancouver.

Perfect Spot
This was the perfect location for our week in Vancouver. Close to everything we wanted to do. Whistler, Squamish, Capilano, Bowen Island ferry, and into Vancouver. We caught the express bus into downtown.. so convenient. The walk to the waterfront and cafes in Horseshoe Bay was literally 2 mins! So close to everything. Valerie was a wonderful host and the apartment was very nice and comfortable. The little touches were much appreciated. I would definitely recommend this rental! It was pleasure to meet you Valerie and hope to visit again.

Wonderful place to stay!
Our family of 3 enjoyed the comfortable and well appointed accommodation. The location is perfect for quick walks to the coffee shops, stores and restaurants. Nice trails around town to walk the dog too. Valerie is a wonderful host and was very quick to respond to any question or request we had. We look forward to staying again.

Perfect Home-away-from-home
The attention to detail that host Valerie gives is topnotch. She is so kind and friendly. The apartment is so cosy and the bed is so comfy, and has a gorgeous view of Horseshoe Bay only a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get on ferries and highways. Horseshoe Bay is small and quiet with excellent restaurants and unique stores, especially the Spirit Gallery. We'd highly recommend this spot. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Everything you need at your fingertips
I love the fact, that the hiking trails were so close, the ferry and ocean also, right there.. A short drive to a great grocery store. or more restaurant options.. The unit was outfitted with absolutely everything a person could need.

Comfortable and best location
We were totally satisfied with our stay at Ferry Walk House. It's updated, has air conditioning, comfortable, and has all the necessities and includes a private outdoor patio garden area. Valerie is friendly and very responsive to any questions. The location is beautiful and convenient! The ferry is right there, buses can take you into the city, and shops, stores, and restaurants are all within walking distance. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Vancouver.

Don't look any further - this is the place you want!
We stayed at Ferry Walk House in late June/early July and it was a great week! Valerie was such an attentive host, she even came to the rescue when our rental car wouldn't start. Ferry Walk House was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed - including a washer/dryer and all the kitchen things you might require! Nice patio, too. Horseshoe Bay is absolutely lovely. Everything is less than 5 minutes away (walking) - coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy and a store for quick necessities. The drive into Vancouver can vary a bit, depending on the time of day you go, but you can make it to the far reaches of Vancouver in 30-40 minutes. Stanley Park is a mere 20 minutes away - pending traffic on the bridge. We explored Stanley Park, Science World (a MUST if you have kids - it is worth every penny and then some!), Granville Island (park near Science World and take the AquaBus - it's so tiny and fantastic), and some other parts of the city. However, we actually found the best adventures away from the city. Whale Watching - We booked with Seabreeze Adventures (in Steveston - cute town), but all the tours talk to eachother as to where the whales are, so just go with whichever is most convenient for you. Whistler - The mountain & the drive there is amazing. Plan a stop at Shannon Falls. The ferry - across the street from Ferry Walk House! Take it to Nanaimo, which is very charming. Download URide for transportation on the island. We loved our stay and hope to return soon!

Wonderful stay at the ferry walk house
We had such a great time in this delightful property we were so lucky to find. Located and nestled in horseshoe bay west Vancouver with walking distance to shops and restaurants. Picturesque community with BC ferries just next door. Will definitely be back.

Great place to stay in Horseshoe Bay!
Very happy with our stay, the place was just as nice as it appears in the pictures, Valerie was fabulous, going out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The kitchen was stocked with everything you could ask for, and we loved that we could do our laundry in the suite, I would highly recommend this property.

A home from home, a very comfortable property matched by a great host. Perfect location to explore the islands and park walks, downtown easily reachable with regular bus services-the scenic or express. Definitely a great location to stay if visiting Vancouver.

Ferry Walk House
Our stay at Ferry Walk House was amazing, Valerie (owner of the property) is lovely and very helpful with everything you need. The photos and description of Ferry Walk House is true to every word, it is simply home from home, very dog friendly too. It is a gem of a place in the middle of Horseshoe Bay, walking distance to the bay, local shops, restaurants etc. Lots of places to visit, lots of trails to visit if you like hiking, lovely drive to Whistler, Squamish stopping off at points of interests : Brandiwine Falls, Alexander Falls, Shannon Falls. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean ,very attractiveMy decorated ground floor suite. and maMy homelike touches with beautifully equipped suite style kitchen. Lovely small courtyard gardens . Direct sunlight from mid morning to early evening on small patio. Very pleasant and helpful owner upstairs.

Cozy, comfortable and generous
Valerie is a generous host and the place is refreshing and clean. Well stocked, thoughtful “extras”, wonderful soft sheets and a comfortable even with back problems... I could sleep in the bed! Fur babies were welcomed and we felt right at home. Great place for a week stay. Close to West Vancouver “down town” area with lots of shopping and food choice - car was super helpful and there is a place to park on the premise.

Lovely place to stay!
This place is everything you hope to find In a vacation home and more. Valerie is an exceptional hostess and she does everything to make your stay a perfect one. Very helpful with all of our questions and made great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a clean, quiet, perfectly located, place to stay within walking distance to the BC Ferry.
