Dishonest property management company
We booked this property because the property management company, VACASA, told us there WAS beach access from the backyard, but that was a lie. The booking profile also listed “beachfront,” however, when we arrived we found no access. After phone calls with VACASA, we were told there was no access and that to get to a beach we would have to walk down the street, through a field, and down a bunch of stairs. Having beach access was the main reason we booked the property so it was very frustrating to learn we’d been lied to. Also, VACASA was not willing to offer any consolation or willing to remedy the situation in any way. Be cautious, if you book this property management company is not honest.
Also, whatever cleaning products were used were overpowering and gave us a headache. If you're sensitive to smells this is not the home for you.
Lastly, the town was a disappointment no charm here. It was also more on the outskirts than we had hoped. I wish we could have stayed in Mendocino just an hour from here.
I will say the views were awesome, and the hot tub in the evening was great!
But if you're looking for a cozy home in a quaint little town with beach access, this is NOT the home for you.
