Suitable for the whole family

The location really couldn't be any more perfect, so much to do and everything is right there on your doorstep. Lots of things to keep you entertained if the weather isn't so ideal. We had no idea what to expect as our first holiday travelling with an infant, but the place had everything we needed and some things we didnt even realise we needed! The host was communicative and available for enquiries. We're already talking about booking this property as an annual thing.

I think the situation of this bach is one of the best in Whiritoa, fantastic for my grandchildren they learnt to kayak right in front of the bach. The bach had absolutely everything we needed, so comfortable and sitting on the deck looking out at the sea was wonderful.

Whiritoa beach stay

Even better than the pictures. Absolutely stunning and the most relaxing place we’ve ever stayed. Everything you could want at the bach for an enjoyable time. Loved the kayaks and all the books. Fabulous Spot

Another epic relaxing break enjoying the lagoon, fishing and star gazing. Three brilliant days with family, in a great property. All the necessary toys onsite, like kayaks and water equipment. Highly recommend, thank you!

Great to be back!

The best location!

We loved our stay at this gorgeous bach. With the beach right on the doorstep, you get the sound of the waves crashing lulling you to sleep. We enjoyed early morning strolls along the beach, day time family walk over the hill to the bay around the corner and amazing blow hole down the opposite end of the beach. And star speckled sky at night. You're just so close to nature you just want to explore the whole time. In saying that, staying indoors is also lovely. Beautiful views, dining area great for board games (lots of great ones there), master bedroom a haven of relaxation.

Absolutely stunning

This bach is just stunning. It has the best location that we have probably ever stayed at. The estuary is so nice & safe for the kids but the ocean is right there too, for the best sunrises & sunsets ever :-) We can’t wait to come back!

On the river and the beach!

Perfect for our final 4 nights in New Zealand. So nice to have provided kayaks and boogie boards. The beach is sandy and the waves were fun. It's conveniently close to other fun things in the area like donut island, the gold country gorge, and the hidden cove at the headland on the other end of the beach. Could see sunrises from the porch!

Had a perfect stay just as imagined. Perfect location to the lagoon, which was awesome for my young girls 4&2. Such a nice nostalgia to the bach with everything you may need. Recommended.

Love this place!

We've been coming here for years but I'm still always impressed by the view- love sitting on the deck looking out to the sea. It is so nice to switch off, listen to the waves and enjoy time with the family here, thanks Margaret for sharing your wonderful bach with us!
