"This place is lovely. It is part of the Alexander’s lodge, just 1 mile away from Ashfords’s Mt. Rainier National Park entrance. A perfect location, if you want to explore the park. We enjoyed learning about the history of the lodge from the info material in the cabin. The only trouble we had was finding the place, as the Vrbo listing didn’t have a house number and it was impossible to communicate with the owners as we were searching along the road in Ashford (no reception). "I have stayed several times at the Canyo River Lodge on the Yakima River. Every time I am reminded of how beautiful the Yakima River canyon is and how easy a drive it is from Seattle. The lodge itself is a world class facility right on the river. The suites are lovely, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant has wonderful food. In addition there is one of the finest fly shops at the lodge that I have ever been in. They have guides for fishing, sporting clays, and hunting if you need help...
