"We wanted a short getaway that would accept the dogs. This was perfect. Very dog friendly spot and area. Close to Lake Superior, Porcupine Mountains, and Lake of the Clouds. Modest house, homey. Very well stocked kitchen and bath. White Pine MI is a very small community without many services, which is why I didn't rate location as excellent. But, we came prepared with what we needed and enjoyed our stay. "

"All was as stated in the listing. All the pots, pans and utensils needed and clean, close to the lake and the Porkies. I will say, the paper products thing was a surprise. It is listed in the property description but I was disappointed and how much “to get you started” amounted to. There was a single roll of toilet paper in each bathroom along with a few tissues. We were in need of more by the first morning. Given the cost to have these stocked, seemed like a pretty big hassle. "

"We greatly enjoyed our family’s getaway for a long weekend. We couldn’t have asked for better weather in September! The home is beautiful and very well maintained. "Loved the house, so much nostalgia…..loved the kitchen stove, that worked very well, by the way. Perfect location quiet and central to many things we wanted to see. Loved talking with Tina, she was more than happy to answer my questions about the house and the surrounding area and Pat was prompt in communicating with me when needed.
