Great Porkies Stay for Family
We loved our stay. The location was very close to Lake Superior, the State Park and beautiful waterfalls. The house was very nice and clean with nice hot showers. Nice and cozy house with lots of bedrooms, beds and a nice 2 1/2 bathrooms!! The kitchen/dining/living room area are a little on the small side, but definitely doable. We'd stay again!

Sally's home was a perfect home base!
After staying at Sally's home, I can understand why she has so many 10/10 reviews! The home is very clean, beds comfortable. I have never stayed at a vacation rental that is so well equipped for cooking for our large family. We played foosball, darts, watched a couple of the provided movies, had a campfire. Location of the house is perfect for any destination in the Porcupine mountains. Sally's communication was superb: helpful responses, although never saw her! We will stay again, if we come back to this area. Don't hesitate to make a reservation!

Quiet and spacious
The house has many bathrooms and beds for a comfortable stay! It is quiet and has a beautiful back porch to enjoy and a full kitchen to cook in if you like. They share activities and fun available in the area and there are 2 delicious restaurants within minutes. One has a full menu and the other pizza and subs and both were great! I recommend for large groups.

Very clean, just as described. Great central location. Went to presque isle waterfalls. Black river waterfalls. Porkies. Ontangon and Lake Superior Had great camp fires. Saw bear at local restaurant. Watched movies as we were exhausted end of day. Great communication and everything we needed was there. Thanks

Fantastic Host
She has literally anything and everything in the home that you could possibly need while away on vacation. TVs in each room and comfortable beds and seating arrangements. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and 10 out of 10 highly recommend this home.

Cute and cozy, yet very roomy
Really enjoyed our stay. All the amenities we needed, with many sleeping options and fun things to do. centrally located near many beautiful trails, beaches, parks and waterfalls! Short drive to Lake Superior. Sally was a kind and gracious hostess. Less remote than I like, but very quiet area.

Summer Family Trip
Our family took some time away to enjoy the Porcupine Mountains and nearby Lake Superior. The well-equipped house was great, both as a home base for these excursions, as well as for lounging around on rest days.

Great stay
We had a great time at Sally's place. The location worked well for our visit to the porcupine mountains. The house was comfortable and clean. It was probably the cleanest VRBO we have stayed at. The nearby beach was the perfect end to most evenings.

The place was as advertised! Engaging for 13yo son when the rain wouldn’t stop. Saw a deer walking through lawn. Quick, easy communication and check-in/out process! Highly recommend.

Great find!
House is very clean, comfortable and peaceful. The location is ideal and price is reasonable! The owner is very pleasant to work with and had great communication w me. I felt she went out of her way to accomodate us and I appreciated the effort! The house is decorated with great little decorations that make you feel welcomed. We came to hike the Porcupine Mtns, explore Ontonagon town and beaches as well as take a trip to Copper Harbor. I look forward to coming back in the winter

Western UP Hiking and Waterfall Hunting
This house was exactly as advertised. Sally was very responsive and had great suggestions for the area. Nice central location to explore the Western UP including the Keewenaw Peninsula, Porcupine Mountains, and a ton of waterfalls. House had everything needed for a 5 night stay and was clean and ready for our arrival. My wife and I had a great time!

SWEET
What a great place to stay. The host, Sally, is awesome to work with and communication was quick and helpful. Loved having the 3 bathrooms as our group consisted of myself, my husband and 4 additional guys plus our dog. Beds were super comfortable, every bedroom has its own TV; we stayed in the master with our own bath/shower which I loved. The location was great. Our group rode over 800 miles in 5 days. My personal favorite was the ride to Calumet, over 200 miles! Good restaurants in the area, quiet neighborhood with super easy access toTrail 1. We had 3 trucks and trailers but managed to get everyone parked safely in the drive. Sally is truly a Premier Host❣️

Snowmobiling Stay in the UP
Thank you Sally for the great communication and prompt responses. We had 9 sledders, which is typically difficult, but we were able to stay with plenty of room! The garage was a huge bonus for working on the sleds at night. We were also able to park our three enclosed trailers, three trucks, and all 9 sleds in the driveway!

Snowmobilers' Paradise!
Sally is an amazing and responsive host whom was available for any/all questions we had prior, during, and after the trip!! The home was beautifully put together and fit our group of 6 with ease!! We've snowmobiled the UP for several years leaving from Lake Gogebic and decided to change the starting point this year. White Pine is a nice area with a central location to amenities as needed! We were able to park our 3 full size trucks w/trailer with ease (we did put one of the smaller trailers on top of sled deck) as well as being able to unload our 7 snowmobiles and park in the driveway without issue. The property is nicely stocked with the simple necessities! Our favorite features was the bar off the kitchen, the Ski-Doo sign behind the bar, and the ability to hang all of our gear after a ride out (we were up during the rain/snow situation of the UP mid Jan/2023). Although the trails weren't in the best condition we've ever seen them (can't predict mother nature), we all had a blast. We even made use of the garage to do some light work to one of the sleds. All around amazing space, hope to visit again!!

Perfect Ski Trip!
Great location close to the Porcupine Mountains. The house itself was set up great for our group of 7. The bed I slept on was super comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with anything you might need. Garage was a good spot to drop your gear before heading into the house. 100% would rent again. Sally was more than accommodating.

The property is located near porcupine mountain. The whole house is tastefully decorated and very clean. The beds are SUPER comfortable. We all had very restful nights of sleep after long day of hiking and sightseeing at porcupine mountain and nearby town. Response from host is very timely. super easy check in .Host also provides information on nearby attactions and dining. Dining options are limited in the white pine area, but there are a few good restaurants in the next town, Ontonagon MI. Roxey's Bar and Grill offers great burgers,sandwiches and beers. There is also a nice beach at Ontonagon, a nice spot for watching sunset. It was start of the Fall season during our visit, and the scenic drive from and to the house on route 64 is beautiful with the fall color on full display. We had a very pleaseant stay!
