"This place is as advertised but, way better in person. 7 miles from Ann Arbor. We had a party of 6 and we very comfortable inside and outside the house in the backyard/deck area. We spent time in the hot tub after a day spent at Michigan Stadium watching our beloved Texas Longhorns play the Michigan Wolverines. "From the first interactions with the owner to the simple check out process, we were delighted to spend the month of August at this nicely-appointed property. The cottage was clean, close to restaurants/shopping and access to Mandon Lake was a short paddle down the canal. The owner/property manager were very responsive and took the time to make sure our stay exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this property and we are looking forward to returning soon!"

"We loved having the bedrooms on the 2nd floor. Compared to most rental houses, there was plenty of seating available in the living area and we had the best morning coffee out on the patio facing the lake. The beds were comfortable and the lake was surprisingly quiet. Although this was near the end of September, so mid summer might be a different story. The kids loved the kayaks!"
