Wonderful property, we enjoyed the stay, however there were many things not up to the standards we expected. For the amount of money all of these issues should not have happened. -Bbq had left burned food & thick grease caused fire, very dirty & should have been cleaned -Kayaks broken, fill with water and back support broken -Patio & furniture very dirty & ants all over -Leftover trash in outside mesh can from previous people which caused ants everywhere -Master bedroom mattress extremely uncomfortable & has lump in middle. Nearly impossible to get comfortable to sleep -Bunk bed mattresses very thin & hard to sleep on -Bathroom shower off kitchen leaks when using very bad, floor is sinking, dangerous for guests -No ceiling fans outside as shown in pics -Road to house is awful and should be mentioned in listing Thank you.

It's a perfect spot for fishing, swimming & hanging out with family. The place needs a little love, but we didn't let this stop us from having a great time. You definitely need life jackets for the lake as the water level water varies. Fishing & swimming were our favorite activities.The beds were comfy; the ac was great & there was plenty of hot water for showering.

Amazing private getaway great for the whole family.

All the upfront communication was clear. Because they are part of a different listing group there was an additional waiver to sign that I did not catch upon booking confirmation so just watch out for direct communication in the VRBO app. The house was excellent. Extrememly baby proof, family friendly and cozy. We had everything we needed. The outside space was massive. So much more running and playing room for the kids. The private dock access allowed my kids to literally fish, swim, and kayak all day. Wish we had time to stay longer but we plan to return here again soon.

The property and inside the house was nice. The outside patio could use some attention as the lights and ceiling fans were broken. One suggestion i would have for the owners is to have a fenced area for families with toddlers such as myself. I spent most of my time chasing them around and keeping them out of the neghbors yard as well as keeping them from the water. But all that being said, it was a very nice place. I really enjoyed the fishing pier. I would definitely recommend this location to other people. Especially ones without kids or older kids.

The property is absolutely breathtaking!!!!!! The house is extremely beautifully cozy, accommodating and relaxing!!!!! The access to the water is perfect as well as the fire pit. Peaceful Getaway

The home was clean, and had everything we needed. Large enough for our family. It was peaceful to fish and overall quiet. The road leading in is very rough. Potholes and broken rd. We were in an SUV and Truck but a smaller car would have issues. The patio furniture looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Had cowebs and dusty. Quick clean and it was fine to sit and read on. There is a large table outside to sit and eat. That was nice to enjoy the weather. Overall we would stay here again. The boys enjoyed fishing off the dock and the girl's our reading outside. smaller car would have issues.

Bass fishing trip

We loved our stay. Everything was great especially the backyard and the fishing dock. We used the fire pit and enjoyed our dinner around the fire. The kids used the kayaks around the lake and were able to catch some fish.

Calming Atmosphere

I traveled to Texas to visit my brother, who has terminal cancer. I rented this property because we wanted a space to sit and watch our children play together one last time. I was not disappointed! This property offered exactly what I had pictured and more. Our kids had a wonderful time, exploring all of the child-friendly activities that were offered and forgot about how sad they are for a little while. I will never forget this house. It will always give me a smile when I think about it.

Relaxing

Our family had the most relaxing stay. The house is ideally situated on the water. We watched the sunrise from the dock and it was beautiful. The kitchen is a chef's dream. The beds are very comfortable and the guest room shower is like getting a great massage.

Awesome spot

We loved the place so much we booked it again. The dock was so awesome you’re on the lake all the time. They provided kayaks for all ages. My 8 year old was able to go out and have fun with his older brother and cousin. We caught a bunch of fish and the property is beautiful. We had fun inside with the foosball table and had a great meal with the awesome kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Lake House!

My husband, myself, the in-laws and brother in-law (who is handicapped) had an amazing time at this property! All one level. Perfect floor plan- nice and open and inviting! We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. They guys fished all night and caught alot of cstfish off the dock. The only draw back was we learned after jumping off the dock into the water, there have been alligator sightings on Lake Tawakoni. Not sure where exactly but just be cautious of that! We did not want to leave when it was time- wish we would've stayed longer! And the host was amazing- responded very quickly to any questions I had. Would definitely go back!
