Thanksgiving
6 adults stayed during the Thanksgiving holidays. We did not take advantage of any of the outdoor activities the house has to offer. We only slept there but the house was very clean and well stocked . We will definitely consider staying there again .

nice place, poor customer service
Overall, this property was great, but unfortunately we had issues with no hot water or water pressure for the entirety of our stay and have not received very good customer service for that issue. This property is very secluded, about a 20 min drive into town. It was spacious and clean and accommodated our party of 8 well. Pool was nice to have. We reported our lack of hot water to the property managers as soon as we realized it and they sent someone out to try to fix it. He was there most of the day and was still unable to fix it. When we contacted the property owner about a possible partial refund for our stay due to this issue, as we were not able to take adequate showers throughout our 2 day stay because the water was FREEZING, we were only offered a very small percentage of our money back. For what we paid to stay here for a weekend, we feel we should have had hot water and pressure. We have contacted the VRBO team for assistance and have been in the queue to hear back from their resolutions team for almost 2 weeks. Would not recommend this property for this reason.

Fun in the sun
We had a good time staying here. We liked that it was secluded and peaceful. The pool was okay but would like a better way to get in and out of the pool. One of the plastic lounge chairs broke as soon as my husband sat in it which left us with just one good chair. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early due to something happening at our house. We were sad about that.

Beautiful location!
We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful Wimberly oasis. It’s in the perfect spot for privacy, yet is only about 30 minutes from several different towns in all directions. We really enjoyed our stay!

The property itself was beautiful. Bedrooms nice. Stairs very narrow and steep and loft ceiling very low. I’m 5foot and kept hitting my head on lift ceilings. The windows were very dirty, cobwebs and dust on the inside windows. I had to sweep and mop because floors were dirty. Shower stalls on bottom were not cleaned properly. No electric can opener. The pool was filthy from top to bottom with sand dirt and debris and lots of bugs. Called the property manager and they refused to come out and clean pool saying they had already done so that morning so we did not get in pool 1st day.. I had to send my daughter in law to buy a Manuel pool vacuum. I spent second day cleaning pool from bottom to top for over an hour. There pool net was torn so as I gathered debris and bugs it would come right out because of hole. The hot tub had no power so we didn’tyse first day either till we called and they told us how to reset hidden breaker. Next door neighbor was very nosey walking his fence line scoping us out with guys huge dog who would not stop barking. Didn’tfeel comfortable walking around in my bathing suit. Eyes were on me. Outdoor porch is lovely but it was full of dirt and leave we had to sweep ourselves and glass table was filthy with dirt and dust. Needless to say I spent most of my 3 days cleaning what should have been done already. I felt like a maid. I couldn’t enjoy my company or the amenities because dirty and hot tub out till we had to set breaker. Will not be back.

Awesome Time
Even though the water was not running the first night(they fixed the well the next day) we made the best of it. This house had everything supplied like a hotel. The hot tub was enjoyable. Some took cold plunges in the pool…Beds comfortable. They have all kitchen supples. TV and internet worked well. We would stay here again. Wife, son and daughter in law and three children under five. Quiet and peaceful place.

Weekend getaway
Property was beautiful. House was perfect. We were disappointed that the hot tub was not working due to the freezing weather, but the owner graciously discounted the price to make up for it. Would definitely escape to this place again!

Awesome girl’s weekend cabin!
We had a fabulous time in this beautiful cabin! The pool was great, the layout was perfect, and the location was classic Texas Hill Country! We highly recommend this rental!

If only
The property is nice and secluded. We enjoyed the pool. Only problems were tv wasn’t working due to some satellite issues so our 87 year old mom couldn’t watch tv. Washing machine was broken. No dish towels or oven mitts were to be found. Cookie sheets and chopping board were dirty. Trash cans were out by the road. Lovely home but I think maintenance or the cleaning crew should of checked to make sure everything was provided and in place. The day before arrival we were told hot tub wasn’t working so we had some unhappy campers due to all of it.

Best Time with Best Friends
We brought plenty of food and drinks and spent the whole weekend relaxing at the house. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub all day Saturday. The pool was too cold for us adults (the weather here has been unseasonably rainy and windy for this time of year, it’s usually 90s by now). We enjoyed the house, rocking on the front porch chairs, hiking around the property, and we the cool lofts were loved by our kids. We had kids ages 14, 12, 8 (x2), & 5 and they all had so much fun together in and out of the pool/hot tub. Thank you for a lovely stay!

5 star stay in the lone star state!
We live in Hawaiian paradise and this property was the perfect getaway! a very good representation of what Texas has to offer, Texas is now our favorite vacation spot if not our future home much due to our amazing stay!
