"The historic stone cottage was a wonderful choice for our stay in Winesburg, OH. The renovation of this vintage home from 1834 was done with incredible care and thought. The furnishings and mattresses were very comfortable. We didn't use the sofa beds, but the sofas were very comfortable. "We loved our stay. The house was beautiful. The neighborhood so quaint. We frequented the pizza and ice cream shop right across the street and the coffee shop a couple blocks down. I did read this in other reviews so I was prepared for it and did not count it as a negative…but the house is old and likely not well insulated and was right on the highway so the traffic noise could be loud. This area seems to be a route for large semi trucks. It wasn’t bothersome during the day and we had ear plugs...

"Check-in was very easy as Owner shared entry code. While small, the kitchen was well appointed including some basic items (olive oil spray, salt/pepper, a couple other seasonings). Check out was a breeze--only instruction was to have dishes washed and put away. Location was great for our needs. Rural. No road noise. Totally enjoyed sitting on the desk and watching several bird species feasting on dogwood berries! It was a lovely place and we hope to return."

"The property was great, everything was as posted in listing. Only problem was the road detour basically right at the driveway...1 a cop was always there not letting people in and 2 our GPS has us going in circles for well over an hour. I would at least warn the next guests, very frustrating. The hot tub was amazing! My only suggestion would be to place some hooks out there for towels."

"This was a little getaway before the hustle and bustle of my Toys for Tots campgin season. Check-in was easy. When I got there the air conditioning was on nice a cool and it smelled so nice. The place is so cute and well maintained. Wi-Fi was wonderful. I walked around the campground the hill was brutal but the campground is beautiful. Would have loved a couple trees around the cabin so I could have put up my hammock but that's a small detail. I know it's hot but would have loved a little...
